Turk_WLF
First of all I hoped I posted this in the correct place. I’m just wondering if GTA is worth buying just for the Emergency Services Add-ons/Mods. I’m not really into the whole “Gangster” main gameplay but from what I see on the forum the Emergency Services add-ons/mods looks very interesting. If it is worth it, which version of GTA should I get, please keep in mind that I only have PC. Also what add-ons should I get right away? Thanks,
Sawdbuster
I actually bought GTA SA just for that purpose and fell in love with the story line, I'm only like hal;f way through the game, but I have some cop mods and firetruck/ambulance mods and I have a game saved for messing around with that. GTA IV, I have for PC and I would say yes, for LCPDFR and Mordeki's EMS mod. Although I have new played either, I have played the similar ones on GTA SA and I love them. But I also like the GTA IV story, but I can't get through more than a mission a sitting before I just start messing around and searching for Easter eggsI am going to buy GTA V and I don't know what that will in-tale. According to my friends, GTA III is also a great game. GTA VC is the first video game I ever played, but I don't think that is worth buying. Handsup!
GTA IV is worth getting for LCPD:FR. The vast selection of other mods also make it worthwhile, and with GTA V coming out soon theres no doubt to be a fire sale on this game. However, if your computer lacks the power to play LCPD:FR, San Andreas is a reasonable alternative.
Dyson
Hmm I own GTA 4 for PC too, I bought it because I wanted to play the game, the mods too. However if you're buying just for the mods then it gets boring fast. The mods are really cool, but with constant random crashes due to one script or another, or just getting bored of sitting in a cruiser going to the same calls over and over. But it is mega cool, I'd just say buy it for the game and have the mods as an extra that's what I did, I had GTA 4 on Xbox, but bought EFLC for PC, that way I can still play 2 story lines to keep me interested as well as playing all kinds of crazy mods.Btw make sure your PC can handle it too, I bought a new PC just to play games like GTA etc Just my opinionx
