I ran the install but it made a new directory and didn't install in Emergency 4 modsMine did that at first. You have to make sure you select the correct mod folder when you install... It wants to go "sixteentonentertainment" well not all games are undr that mine is "wizardworks" so when it asks where to install it just find the correct folder with your em4 game open that and you will find a folder named mods Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bama1234 Posted October 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 Update on the plans for the mod - right now, all I'm worried about is getting bugs worked out and most importantly coming up with ideas for new features. Emergency 5 is said to be even more mod-friendly than 4; so the focus has been directed towards getting ready to port the mod over to Emergency 5. The goal is to have a much better version of the mod with new maps, scripts, missions and gameplay features as a mod for Emergency 5. The way I see it, continuing work on the mod for 4 is pointless as it might prove to be obsolete once 5 comes out. There may be another patch before E5 comes out though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have seen games in final development stages to in testing phases just collapse and never gets released. There as this one game in particular I remember, the group started a project and then half way through decided to hold work and wait until the new game came out. They waited for a year and a half before the developer decided that it wasn't worth it and canceled everything. What I meant was that since 5 will support so much more versatility, and most players will switch from 4 to 5, it would be best to wait until I can develop for 5 and deliver the full experience. Plus I'm really busy with university for the time being Has anyone released a video on how to install this mod, all other mods work fine but this one for some reason I can not play it. Just copy the downloaded folder into your EM4 mods directory. The installer I think has a glitch where it makes duplicate folders. Make sure there's only one "Montana Mod" folder under your EM4 "Mods" folder.
