heyjoojoo
I added several new vehicles to my personal mod and for some reason one of them is not showing up. I have checked the references to the prototype file in the lang, specs, and lang folder and I cannot locate why this vehicle refuses to show up in the list. I dont know what else to check.... Any ideas?I dont know where else to check for possible solutions...
Kermit
Did you make an Units map?
randomperson139
There could be a mistake in the Unit.xml file for the vehicle that isn't working. This is usually the problem for vehicles not showing up.
heyjoojoo
Yeah, I have rechecked the Units file over and over again. I'm gonna redo the prototype and see if that helps.
heyjoojoo
Okay, I thought that would help but it did not... not sure what's going on.... vehicle still not showing up..
Kermit
Can you even select the vehicle in the unit-tab in-game? If yes, check in the editor the placement for the prototype.

Marshall8946
Dont forget to modify your freeplaybase.xml file in your specs folder and the portraits.xml. Those are the two biggest ones. And you can look around this tutorial to trace your steps.
heyjoojoo
Ah hah!! Found it. The problem was in the portrait file. Had the file in the wrong path; had to switch it.
