How do I resize the police barricades so that people do not walk through them?

I have edited the model files of the police barricades by making them longer so that they can hold back a group of people with a barrier of about 40 feet rather than the original 6foot long barricade. This works fine with the exception that the people can walk through the sides that have been extended. But, they can't go through the center. Why does that happen? What do I need to do so that people cannot go through any part of it?

Edit the model's physics in the editor:

F1 (scene) -> objects -> select your barricade -> klick "edit" on the right -> klick "edit physics" -> change the size and position of the physics object (yellow thing) by changing the length/width/etc. parameters shown there.

Hmmm.... seems like people are still walking through the tape... not sure what else to do.
