Marshall8946
Hey guys! Well, Im looking into buying GTA IV now that Im able to afford it. But my current graphics card wont be able to hold the game(no I didnt test it, I already know since GTA SA sometimes has problems). Im looking into a GeForce GT 220. Im not familiar with graphic cards, so that is the best I could find on my own. Im looking for a good graphics card that will run GTA IV smoothly(especially with many mods). Im not quite willing to break my bank, but nothing that will be too cheap that it wont hold up the games. Below is my DxDiag and pictures of what 'can you run it' gave me.Thanks to anyone who can help!-MarshallAlso, before I go buy GTA IV, is there a certain version or anything that I would need to mod? I know SA needs V1.0.DxDiag.txt
Alex03
You should buy the newest from Nividia(600-series). I think either a 650 or a 640 card will be more than enough.
TacticalRooster22
I have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 440, which only cost me $100. It runs GTA IV really well, even with ENB Series (Graphics Enhancer) installed. It makes the game stunning, but has been rumored to raise the temp of your video cards, so make sure you have a good cooling system. I haven't seen any problems yet though.
