Dyson
What's SOSi?And the red X means you haven't defined, or missing, a command UI button. As for the script error you'd need to be more specific.x
cops
SOSI is the siren/light script
Dyson
Ahh, so you just imported this from ERS then right?Simply simply copying a script from another mod wont necessarily work, you'd need to check out the script and make sure all the script meets up with stuff from the mod you're copying too for example vehicle prototypes, sound file locations, GUI locations etc.x
cops
I guess he means this onewww.emergency-forum.de/board41-emergency-4/board75-emergency-4-modding-projects/6379-sondersignalscript/
Dyson
Ahh well my point remains make sure it all fits properly with files in your mod, but yeah when it comes to German scripts I'm lost haha x
eyespy900
well i have got the icon problem sorted, new problem is, when the unit comes out of freeplay base it has the oringinal em4 sirens. how can i get rid of them and add my own siren? all units have the siren script added and there is no errors reported in the script? Wkboy714
In the sirens folder of your mod is "Emsiren01", 02, etc, these are the default EM4 sirens that play when the vehicle passes a civil car.To disable these sirens, you just need to overwrite them with blank audio files so that you won't hear anything ingame. For example, you can copy & paste the "Emsiren01", 02, 03, 04 etc from Los Angeles mod and overwrite them in your mod. They must be being picked up from the data file from the original game somehow. I don't have any idea why this is happening

So just pasting those blank Emsirens into your mod's Sirens folder should overwrite using the default game sirens.
