(Thanks for comin here Vodoo) Of course NOT. We are living in 21st century right ? But usually There are 2 toilets in each Turkish family's house. First one is normal, and the second one is a hole but not just a hole there is a little platform in it to sit there with safety. When it comes to me; I go to the hole just for peeing. Because it's very easy,quik and clean. But when it comes to the S***. ? go to the Toilet(not the one with a hole :D).That's all Thanks for asking ? Anymore Questions ? You can ask them right here right now

:cheers:

Is it true that your toilets are only a hole in the ground?

How's that working out for you if it is the case?

Is your government capitalist, communist, socialist, or other. And what are your thoughts on this?

Welcome Newfoundking :D ;

First of all I need to say that 70% of Turkish people are blindly hating the government. I can not say a word like that but I can describe it. Now the government are trying to arrest innocent generals of Turkish Armed Forces (You can add the innocent police directors too [like my dad]) to eliminate all the obstacles in front of them. Now because of the Arab Spring they got involved. 10% of them are supporters of Iran,Syria and Russia. And 90% of them (the good guys) are supporters of the US, Israel and Europe. When it comes to Turkish People's thoughts ;

We are definitely against to ;

1- Syrian government: because of the deaths of innocent civilians,

2- Iran: maybe foreigns think that thay are our oldest ally(!). Of course not ! We have a big hostility which cames hundreds of years ago with them.

But if a war broke out we will support our allies (US,UK,Canada,Israel,France,Italy,Germany,Azerbaijan,Northern Cyprus etc.)

and least We haven't got any problem with Israel. Actually Turkish people and Israeli people love each other but there is a fu****g problem between the Turkish Government and Israeli Government. That's all !!! whats your thought about us :cheers:

Well honestly, before now, I didn't really know much about Turkey, it sounds to me like Turkey is just a projection of what the American Government is headed to, especially if they want to make radical changes not supported by the people in non-elected positions. This seems to be the trend in a lot of Eastern European countries. Nothing against them, it just seems to be the way

Sounds like you've got a dictatorship, which is only slightly against what people over here have on many levels, the DO WHAT WE SAY, AND DO IT NOW B*TCH kind of government is very well known around here. Federal Ministers are picked up from their fishing trips by military choppers, children die due to poorly funded SAR posts, which are then removed all together, ad nauseum are all happening over here, but we call it a democracy, because the idiots of the country, both in Canada and the US will elect leaders over and over again because "Daddy voted that way" or because (especially here) "I likes him right lots, luh" despite the repetitive screwing over of the people that these "representatives" do, and I use that term only because that's their title, not because the represent the people.

Personally, I think the Turkish gov't needs a forcible removal from office. Saying this probably will classify me as either a terrorist supporter, conspirator, or threat to the Turkish gov't, but I don't care. Many governments need to be removed, as when the government no longer fears its people, but instead instils fear into its people, it has failed. You can quote me on that, my mask will be available next month. (V for Vendetta joke)

All jokes aside, Turkey seems like an okay country, just in a shitty situation. Knowing what I do about Eastern European culture, the current regime will continue, until either A, a "terrorist" kills the key leaders, and topples the government, B, war is waged, or C, people, after being impoverished (and nothing short of it) will eventually build up the will to revolt, and with outside assistance, will topple the government.

Personally, I vote for C to happen now, before the outside assistance is needed, and the officials in power are removed, but I doubt it will happen, and if what I say sparks a riot, I'll be on the first flight to Turkey to join in! :)

I'm definitely agreeing with you. Some governments need to be removed with a force. That's why they are arresting high rank armed forces officers and p. Chiefs.Thanks for asking Boss(:D). Now anymore questions ? ;)

The Turkish Teenagers, how do they look like? Are they walking with too small Nike caps, a dead raccoon around their neck, golden chains and Nike Airmax?

We have a lot of that kind walking around in the Netherlands. That's the Stereotype Turk for me.

Welcome Kermit :D,

I have been in your country while I was living in Germany. We are just a little bit different from you. The teenagers who are haven't got any girlfriends like me, wear like university students. we wear dark jeans,large size t-shirts,patterned vests. I mean we wear this type. because we are looking for hot chicks :P. But when it comes to the boys who have girlfriends wear like their fathers. (When I see them they make my angels deserved :D) so I wanna kick their A**es. and the other type is called "The Apaches" (The rotten apple in the crate) they wear Small size pants, small size sweathers and "Converse" on their feet. And they have very long hairss. But actually you call them the bad boys. Because usually they are familiar with crime and criminals. They wait in the front of our schools to say us " I liked your backpack, now give it to me b***h !. and we call our brothers to show them who is Don Carleone. That's all Kermit ;). Anymore questions ? :cheers:

when the Cyprus was a country, both Greek and Turkish Cypriots were living in peace. But in 70's but people got involved because of the island. Greek government tried to push out Turkish people from the island. And they started to kill innocent Turkish people. When the deaths reached about one thousand, Turkish Armed Forces launched The Cyprus Peace Operation. First, Turkish Airborne Troops landed on the island. After that Turkish Marines deployed tanks in there. Peace ordered. The island has now 4 pieces : 1. Turkey 2. Greece 3. UN Border Zone 4. Akrotiri English Air Base. That's all my friend :cheers: Now anymore questions ? :D

Turkey is a country correct? Do they have a country wide fire service?

Hi unit42 :D

In Turkey, each fire department are connected to the local municipality, in the forests, fire are put out by ministry of forest, each fire department has their own chiefs, and their own vechiles. In big cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir they have huge Fire Brigades. But in little counties usually they have one station for each town. That's all Unit42 ? Anymore questions ? :cheers:
