Sythan
Is it possible to replace the FF with an AMR paramedic along with the Ambulance? Cuz having a firefighter as a paramedic kinda doesn't make senseMany firefighters in the United States are Paramedics too, or at least have an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) license, as around 75% of firefighter calls are EMS/Medical situations. So, it makes perfect sense for Paramedic Firefighters to go in the ambulance, this is even more true when the ambulance service is part of the fire station. Steve Winters
It's a requirement to have first aid in Canada to get into a department. And it's most likely the same in U.S.A.As L.A mod is obviously based in Los Angeles, LAFD applicants must be trained in First Aid before applying. If I'm correct. cheezy95
I think he's talking about the uniform, private ems uniform instead of a ff/paramedic in turnouts

American Medical Response
That's What i was trying to point out. The Problem is i don't know anything about lights,Scripting, etc. So i need some people to do it for me
Marshall8946
I'd be willing to do the lights, but youll need to be able to do some stuff on your own as well. Otherwise you will not get much help..I can help you on some things if you have questions.

Dyson
The NYC mod and my mod both have paramedics in no turnout gear, so I'm a little confused as to what you're on about.
American Medical Response
Like a Private Company EMT class...Such as AMR,Health Tec,Care Plus, RockingHam. Although i cannot do skinning nor modelling...It is too complicated for me so i need a team. However i will be doing research and TRYING to assist the team And i dont Really know what modellers are allot of Team just have them
EmergencyFan97
Modelers create the models you see in the game, i.e. the vehicles, the buildings. You shouldn't need a modeler, only someone to do people skins..
aitor
There are already at least 6 different ambulance models/variations, that can easily be reskinned to amr's, there's also an amr ambulance for LA Mod, so I think there's no need for modelers. By other hand the paramedics could be reskinned from the LAFD Paramedics, and there are some SUV and pick-ups/utility trucks that can also be skinned into amr vehicles.Skinning basic things is easy to learn, download gimp, that is free, check out the tutorial section, and looks some tutorials for using gimp around internet
C.F.D
I'm just curious, AMR, is why you have started a modification when you have no experience in basic areas such as skinning or lighting. I think it's great that you're motivated by the idea of yours, but in all honesty you're just digging yourself a deeper hole and the only way to get out of it is to learn the ropes.Do you have a certain skill that you believe it can be contributed and benefitional for your modification if you want a team of skinners, modelers, etc.? Good luck regardless.
Hawksby
Don't pay attention to C.F.D. He's just a seasoned veteran who likes to pick on the new guys .Speaking of new guys, I'm also new to the whole actual getting hands dirty and skinning or scripting details.I'd like to start 'Learning the ropes' as C.F.D. Called it with GIMP. I'm a madman when it comes to attention of detail sometimes, So... If anyone could point me in the right direction on how to start,I'll be more than glad to contribute, and maybe if I get good enough, Maybe contribute to something like The RED watch later on, Eh? pyrofreak
You don't need a team, perhaps a little research. AMR units have already been released in the past. In fact some mods have them implemented in them, you just need to search for those mods.

AMR units have already been released in the past. In fact some mods have them implemented in them, you just need to search for those mods. Are there any downloads so I can add just the AMR ambulance to the LA mod V.2.1? There are AMR ambulances in the FD Command mod.
mattjrescue
The NYC mod and my mod both have paramedics in no turnout gear, so I'm a little confused as to what you're on about. What he is saying, I think, is he wants the AMR medics with the AMR white uniform shirts that they wear when they assist us at a call or when we assist them. AMR is only a contract service so they don't wear T-shirts marked "Fire Department". I haven't played in your mods yet so I don't know exactly what they look like but I'd advise to whomever is trying this submod to replace the "change to firefighter gear" to "change to extrication gear" and get them a blue helmet and black turnout coat. mattjrescue
What he said. I'd have to agree, I WOULD like to see some AMR personel to be staffed with AMR Equipment *Shrug*Yes, when they assist us at an accident they normally wear extrication gear which is a black turnout coat with orange stripes, a blue plastic helmet and goggles. Their normal uniform is a white button down uniform shirt with black tactical pants. At the fire department I work at, Tampa Fire Rescue, we wear a T-shirt and tactical pants so we can tell each other apart very easily. As for the rigs, that's pretty self explanatory with some research but here AMR completely consists of paramedics, no EMTs.
mattjrescue
I will try to learn how to skin, Although i need some modelers You don't need modelers, when AMR assists us at a call they normally have a ford van-style ambulance but they sometimes use the Ford Box-style ambulance so just use the vintage ambulance from LA mod and the ALS or BLS ambulance from LA mod, no modelers needed.
