Another update! Remember that F150 that was going to be a volunteer vehicle? Well its been replaced! In place of it, I'm using my personal most favorite of all vehicles! The Dodge 3500 Dually!

Also talking about trucks, the ODOT technical truck was replaced with the F350. And as added realism, the Ravenna PD dodge ram is also added! Welcome the new trucks!

A big thanks to itchboy for his hard work! He allowed us to add in these beautiful trucks and many of the vehicles that are to come!

The map is also being worked on! The entire North Eastern part, where the industry is. Say goodbye! It's now filled with houses! A bunch of other minor work is also being done. A fully open(like the police station) dispatch center has been added; along with personnel. I'm working on changing up a little script to allow the player to activate different sounds. Example: Play test tones for different departments, send out warning tones(example: Thunderstorm warning)). If all works, this will be available. If not, the dispatch center will still be available, but these command options wont. The air raid/tornado siren has also been added to the dispatch building. I even added the real tornado siren we have! Although these do not impact the game in any way, these allow the player to experience realism in their down time.

 

For the Charlestown submod, I have been recording each call we receive. This way I can make a custom dispatcher for the submod alone. I've not done much work to the submod, but I have some big plans! Depending, this may be not stay private forever...

Thank you! The only industrial side will be the most South Eastern part where I was asking for help. In Ravenna, we have very little industrial areas. There are a few, but abandoned. Most of Ravenna are shopping and eating areas with a few parks. Even though we are the 'hub' of Portage County.

That black and white Ram reminds of the ones used by my local police dept., Nelson PD in British Columbia. Looking forward to this, keep up the great work!

Thanks guys! Fred is right. Ravenna does not have tankers. Most of the surrounding departments do have them though. So when they are needed, they can be called in. My department, the town next to Ravenna has one. Ravenna has plenty of hydrants around to avoid the use of needing the city to own a tanker.

Thank you for pointing that out though! If it was possible to add the limited water supply logic to this mod, then I would add a tanker.

singalong? Not quite sure what your asking there..

 

Can you not add that logic to this mod?

I dont have the scripting skills to make that possible. I looked into it for the Charlestown mod and wasn't able to figure it out. When looking on the forums, everything is scattered out to make it compatible for freeplay. To attempt to add it to this mod would be beyond my knowledge.

Hey Marshall, I saw some updates on Facebook do you think you could share some new info to the forum?

There's not much to say about the Ravenna mod at the moment. Besides all of the volunteer vehicles within the Ravenna submod will be removed.

The info you saw was about the Charlestown submod. Info on that:

The Charlestown submod is more than halfway completed. I may be adding only a few more volunteer units, and the rest will be mutual aid units. My personal vehicle was created in EM4 and is now in the Charlestown submod! The '91 Jeep Cherokee! I even added my lights to the vehicle as best as I could. Although I could not add all of them. The tanker in the submod (the truck between 1314 and 2313) will be replaced with an actual tanker model. The limited water supply is currently being added as best as I can. I'm running into a few barriers that are holding me back. If I cannot add this logic into the submod, the submod will remain private and not released.
