Newfoundking Posted May 13, 2014 Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 They use a combination of blue and white lightbars, which is significantly brighter than the traditional red, however will still display red lights in the grille forward facing, as this will identify it as an emergency vehicle under state law. There are a number of Octavia (VRS in some cases) cars used by various police forces across the country. And the Ambulance service use the Octavia scout without many problems. Assuming it was the Octavias the Met had problems with, what was different with their cars?
