Many fire services participate in a donation program. They pass on their older vehicles to departments in other countries.

Once they get the trucks it takes a while to change the titles on the trucks.

As another example, in post 9, picture 4 , that unit used to be an ambulance for the Columbus Fire Department in Ohio.
