I was going to suggest using the USFS engine prototype as a base for the tender, since it doesn't have a deck gun. Either way works, so good to see it in there. Sorry for the down time gents, life has just been an ass kicker but now I have some down time! First the new stuff! I've modeled LACoFD's newest engine, which basically just has new fancy lighting, as well as my ambulance from work, which is the ONLY AMR type 2 that looks like this in all of LA County!
