Stan
Los Angeles mod is installed by an .exe file and not by the mod installer. All you need to check is if you have a Mod directory in your install directory

TheAxeMan33
in my em4 mod installer its say to ever single mod i try its corruptedNOTE: Modifying or deleting the wrong registry key may cause serious damageto your Windows installation. If you are uncomfortable, have someone who ismore computer savvy do it for you.We will be creating the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\sixteentons entertainment\Emergency 3 US.Within it we will have the Value name 'Installdir' with the value data'[installation directory]'. Please follow these instructions exactly:1) Start regedit by selecting Start - Run, typing in 'regedit' and thenhitting 'OK'.2) Select 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' and press the '+' button to its left toexpand the list.3) Next, select 'SOFTWARE' and press the '+' button to its left to expandthe list.5) Right-click on 'SOFTWARE' and select New > Key.Enter the new key name: sixteen tons entertainment6) Right-click on 'sixteen tons entertainment' and select New > Key.Enter the new key name: Emergency 47) Right-click on 'Emergency 4' and select New > String value.Enter the new key name: Installdir8) Right-click on 'Installdir' and select Modify. In the 'Value Data' field, enter the full path of your installationdirectory.By default, this value is C:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4 [NOTE : This is a EM3 Fix that I previously modified to fix my own 911FR Mod Installer which worked perfectly, but that being said, I'm not responsible for any issues caused to your game and/or system]
