Wanting to know because when you go to their website it mainly says that they make electronics for the military. Also are Their laptops better than the Panasonic Tough Book? Voodoo_Operator
My guess would be that these are not available in any way to the general public.

Xplorer4x4
Depends what you need it for? One thing is for sure, your not paying for the hardware. Your paying for durability. As for the GD vs the Panasonic, pretty sure the Panasonic is designed to take more every day type of abuse. You know little drops here and there, the occasional coffee spill maybe. The GD is designed for military use so it is designed to take major abuse like being bounced around in every direction, hitting big pot holes and stuff like that. Keep in mind the hardware is almost obsolete now. There using Core2Duo CPUs. This is more then enough for thing along the line of what Ricky mentioned with being used for AMR where there more or less just sending and receiving text. The onboard GPU units are not for gaming or displaying HD Video, but for displaying lots of text and simple GUIs then the GPUs are more then capable.
