Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection

I am trying to play the game on a Mac using Microsoft's Remote Desktop Application. The game is installed on an XP machine and works fine, however, it crashes on the Mac machine - a black screen appears for a short moment and then the game crashes to desktop. After searching the topic a little bit, I learned that MS Remote Desktop doesn't carry many of the DirectX properties and behaviors and therefore it may be impossible to run the game with it. Has anyone tried and succeeded running the game on a Mac using Remote Desktop? If this isn't a workable solution, what is the advice for Mac users among the various alternatives such as Bootcamp, Parallel, etc.? Thanks.

Wow never heard of some one trying to play a game using remote desktop lol. Interesting idea but yeah I think its doomed to fail.

Anyways its hard to recommend which method is best because we lack any info on what hardware is in your computer. However, even then I am not sure that emulators like VMWare and such are really designed to play games outside basic things like solitaire or minesweeper, thats assuming you have the resources to run a VMware environment thats going to be using resources needing for a some what advanced game. BootCamp is probably the best bet. That or just install windows.
