arpad80
Hi all, I've tried and tried to get 911: First Responders to get working but to no avail. I have tried all of the suggestions listed here. Could someone please look at my dxdiag and log and let me know if I'm missing anything here.Any help will be much appreciated.DxDiag.txtlogfile.txt

Xandarb
alright. So, I 100% agree with shadowzuziz, you have to describe the problem. But there are a few things that i can recommend.Update your drivers! Here is what Nvidia.com's GeForce GTS 360M drivers page looks like, so download this (if you haven't already)!___________________________________________________________________________________Automatically Find Drivers For My NVIDIA-Powered Notebook.Download now!____________________________________________________________________________________Oh, and there has been problems with high-resolution settings, so try to lower your's to about 1280x1024 (this is what I use). arpad80
Thanks for the replies. I have update all of my drivers to the latest for my graphics card and audio card. I start the game, it goes to a black screen for a few seconds then crashes to the desktop with no explanation. I have lowered my resolution to 800x600 and 1024x780 and I get the same results. MikeyPI
I'm naive when it comes to 7, far as I know it's a repaired vista, try running the game as an admin, and try DOWNGRADING your drivers, some games I have will NOT run the latest NVIDIA drivers for my particular card, you might be experiencing the same fate sadly, if you roam the net sometimes you get lucky and find the "midrange" drivers that arent the newest but are also not what she shipped with either, they seem to be the least "hostile" towards old games. Xplorer4x4
I'm naive when it comes to 7, far as I know it's a repaired vistaTo sum it up in laymen terms, yes, with some added features and slight GUI tweaks. In many cases Vista/7 share the same drivers.
jerome
When I was running on Vista, I used to CTD sometimes, But I would just change my color settings to 16 bit then back to 32 bit and it would work just fine...
MikeyPI
chances are you got a new driver set that is incompatible with the game, try hunting the net for drivers that are a bit older ehh say 6 months to a year than the driver set you're currently using... In some cases particularly older games they are incompatible with the "new" features the latest drivers have... I have one game to make my HDMI work I had to lose the game b/c the drivers that the HDMI works with do not support the game anymore... It's just a fact of life w/ old software.
