Dennislp3
Any tips on dealing with multiple emergencies in Freeplay? I seem to do just fine...then I get multiple emergencies which leaves me with lots of people sitting around either during or after an emergency...wasting tons of resources (I am playing the LA mod so I only have so many assets on the map and don't like calling in t many off map units)...especially firefighters who are at one scene with hoses out...getting em back into the vehicles is a pain...is there any "everyone back in the vehicle" button? Guest Karlos
"especially firefighters who are at one scene with hoses out...getting em back into the vehicles is a pain...is there any "everyone back in the vehicle" button?"After the firefighters have been rapidly deployed, just press the 'Rapid Deployment' button again and they'll all get back in.As for making things easier, I'm not too sure. You could edit the XML files so that you can change which emergencies run, so you could disable things such as earthquakes.

Grim_Wizard
Yeah, it's unavioadable though, it's not that bad though because for me even though they're still at the emergency site, I don't need them to go to another emergency situation. Also to Emergency Planet.
groovybluedog
Hmm... How can I stop some events happening so much, yet make some events happen a lot? I know its in the XMLs but I cannot find out where.
Newfoundking
The freeplay params is where you can adjust the frequency of events. Lower them all around to get lesser call volumes.. It's all labelled in there
JoelJoshi
it helps to have a lot of Cops patroling, as they can call some vehicles inalso, you should have multiple Battalion cheifs around the map, saves alot of time
Newfoundking
Personally, I keep the one, and I set him as group one (select then ctrl+1) and he can be easily accessed to automatically ddispatch the nearest unit to the scene. Works like a charm. Also avoid using ladders unless needed for fires
