need help in making ladder truck

hi everyone i am trying to make a hyraulic ladder for my mod but they problem is the ladder folds up and down like a cherry picker ladder and i dont know how to make it fold can anyone help me out? thanks

In short, they don't work, the only way they can work in theory is if they completely extend via animation, then swap to a conventional ladder type.... The animations can only deploy the arm, not rotate... The game has strict rules for what a ladder must be.

hey mickey PI, I was wondering if you could point me in the dirction of a animation tutorial, or could explain it. I want to add an install command to a vehicle like the ladder/atf of the LA mod for my submod. PM me if its off topic

That video does exactly what you can do via an animation, it never rotates on the horizontal axis... So that doesnt really show it as possible, it shows exactly what you can do with an animation=)
