ZackBowden Posted September 2, 2012 Report Share Posted September 2, 2012 I have a problem: I have done steps 1 through 3, and when I go to install the mod it says: " Couldn't write any data in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Sixteen Tons Entertainment\Emergency 4" Would you like to restart the application with administrator rights?" and I can't get past that. Anytime I get an incident thats more then a single vehicle crash or a big fire the traffic gets so bad I can't keep playing. I love this mod but its so hard to keep traffic flowing with the redirect command.Or, also an option is there anyway to revert back to the stock traffic redirection where they just turn around and go the other way? I've tried finding it and can't seem to find a refrence to it anywhere in the scripts folders. Don't get me wrong its cool as hell and works great for simple emergencies but for large scale car accidents or operations on narrow streets its total hell and I want the orginal back lol. How can I fix that or should I just give up with trying to download ERS?Run the installer as admin and make sure your firewall isn't blocking anything.I have to run ERS berlin and anything to do with it as admin as it changes folders around every time it's loaded!
