Pictures of animals being saved always reminds me of this one episode of Animals Cops. The SPCA/equivalent were going to the house with police to seize several cats, dogs and birds. But when they arrived, they discovered hundreds of animals starving and dying. They authorities were trying their hardest to rescue them, but they didn't have the resources. Local TV crews turned up and the story made breaking news on live TV. Soon after, dozens of people began turning up with cages, water, and food.
