Hi,

ive spent ages on zMod & Oxygen 2 trying to learn how to create models, but i just cant get used to using it, therefore i ask if anyone knows or has a easy to use model creator that makes good or average models. Also how do i convert DDS to V3o so i can unlock the images?

Zmodeler is the easiest to use and learn in my opinion but someone did suggest that Maxon Cinema may be easier.

All you have to do to unlock the dds is to rename it to [something].v3o and then in the editor go Modifications > Unpack file and browse to the file.

Once you have done this just rename it back to .dds. (You will need to have shown the file extensions to rename it)

Use tutorials for modeling! I used hoppahs tutorial, not knowing anything about modeling, and now I can make models for simple cars and trucks,etc. If you spent 1-2 hours using the tutorial, you will have the basic down.

Its also good if you use alot of different tutorials so that if you dont understand a concept in one, you can use another.

But the easiest to start off with would be to use another model and model around that as a guide.

You could get one out of a mod or find them from other sources such as other games or google 3d warehouse (if you can)

I think no-one leaves hes model nearly done, i think they always finish it.
