LA Mod Won't Start

I installed the mod correctly, and when I try to either start the game from the shortcut, or from inside the game, the game stops responding. The game is patched to 1.3.

My system:

Windows 7

Ge-Force GTS250 graphics card

Gigabyte motherboard

4 Gigs of RAM

i7 CPU core that is a 9200 and runs at 2.60GHz.

For one theres no i7 9200 For two, be patient. It will take roughly one to two minuets for it to load for the LA Mod. It says this when you install the mod.

Same thing applies to all mods. All depends on how advanced the mod is. Some will load in 30 seconds if there isnt much to the mod.

It seriously takes 1 or 2 minutes for it to load? What kinda BS loading is that?

You mean it is a i7 920.

If you dont like the loading time, dont play it. That Simple. It takes time because the game is more or less loading another game inside the game because the LA Mod takes the gameplay a new level.

Of course I'm not going to friggen play it since it takes 2 minutes for it to load a single stupid mod. None of my other games do this. It's just plain ridiculous.

Did you already try to find out if it works if you wait a little longer at least? It depends on the computer how fast the mod gets loaded. But it's also the games engine that's kinda slow at loading mods. Nevertheless the mod still contains about 4400 files that need to be loaded. Every playable vehicle gets scanned, logged and precashed by game as well (see logfile of the game). It takes a little longer than 1 minute to load the mod on my 2 year old computer.

Wow none of your other games pause to load levels or stuff like that? So waiting a minute to load a mod is to much?
