Guest dionissimus
Rather than killing an hour trying to figure this out I thought I'd ask : )Suppose I need to modify the mesh of a fire truck from the game. Do I have to have a payware Zmodeler to import it?

Guest Francis
YesTo finish his sentence....Yes you do need to have the fully paid version of Zanoza Modeler, also known as ZModeler. Only version 2 is payware though. Version 1 can be used to create the models, as Mikey and I do because we both prefer its interface. Version 2 can then be used to export to v3o. It isn't that expensive, it is about 5 hours of salary for me, and can be really useful. I also tried to create an export plugin to v3o for ZModeler 1 but I failed because well the SDK is not out and you cannot create your own formats for it. Yet, I guess.I suggest you get ZModeler to make the models and use a paid ZModeler 2 to export the models to v3o format.
Guest dionissimus
Thank you for your answers. Just to make things clear, I was wondering about importing existing v3o models (supplied with the game). I guess, I do indeed need a paid version. Well, might as well buy it (heard it's only $60, a total bargain for a CAD). Or... I might just as well recreate those Mercedes trucks I am after, from scratch. Haven't found reliable front/back views (sides I got), let alone blueprints, so... I'll just draw them and scale/export/compare to the existing ones in the e4 editor : )Further opinions are welcome : )
Ami89E1234
Lol that reminds me that I need to make a .mdl filter for it.I also don't get why the ZM1 interface is so much better... it's like the exact same thing. And you could always change it.
