Is it worth buying emergency 4 deluxe?

I was wodering if it is worth it to buy emergency 4 deluxe what missions are there in the mission list and freeplay Thx

you get 3 international missions, 1 where you escort an aid convoy and 2 others I cant remember right now but someone else can tell you that.

In freeplay, you get bird flu (hazmat incident), murder (find the victim and thereafter the murder), hail storm (or snow as it is in LA mod) and a few other events that I cannot remember

In freeplay there is also a sniper event, you have a guy with a sniper shooting people. I think you get an amok driver event, and an event where a guy goes aroung blowing up cars.

Look in your 911-...\Data\Specs\fp_params_endless_d.xml

The file can be read with Notepad. Search for the string <!-- DELUXE FREEPLAY EVENTS -->

You don't get to play them in the 911 version, but the basic description (very basic) is there. A complete list of what you are missing : )

To sum it up: there are quite a few new events that involve Hazmat. And a few others.

To me, the greatest benefit of getting Deluxe was the new freeplay map. That and.. well, those new missions. I'd say getting Deluxe is a good idea. And if you have the 911 english version, most of the deluxe can be anglified just by copying the language folder contents.

I only encountered it once, the suspect was setting my vehicles on fire : ( I had an impromptu base with 2 RAs* and a PD patrol car on the parking lot of the park/lake area (south middle-map, deluxe map). I panicked and, before I realized I had to arrest him ASAP and after he burned one of the RAs and went for the second, I started running away from him with the second RA. He would follow it (I didn't drive too far away) and try setting it on fire again, at which point I would drive off again. It went on for about half a minute, after which I collected myself and proceeded to apprehend the suspect : )

*RA=Rescue Ambulance. Basically, just an ambulance.

Do you need a new freeplay map? If "yes" - buy it. If not - dont.

In LA mod, I immediately call the nearest patrol car (or call one or two traffic cops on bikes) to shut the traffic through the nearest crossings/intersections. In one case I called the ambulance, since it was the closest unit. The main task is to block off the nearest crossing. Then I call the engineer at my leisure, and he fixes the broken railroad crossing device , hydrant or traffic light. It's all the same, really

Needless to say, about the same technique should be used in the vanilla version.

EDIT: I assume the worst situation, when the street blockage ends up in a traffic jam stretching to the railway crossing. That's when you are potentially in a sh...load of trouble. Otherwise, it's just a matter of sending an engie. Oh yeah, traffic accidents are likely to occur even if the failure is not near the railroad. Traffic blocking, or better rerouting is the first priority in any case.
