I never had to use them and a space for summoning a fire truck would be a whole lot more useful.I'd say that was the best suggestion.If flares could be made so that you can click a Start/Finish point where they would automatically lay down enough to cover the space and make it so traffic gets diverted to a path beside it they would be worthwhile.Apart from the aesthetics, it's no different to the "Stop" command, which is 100x easier especially when it comes to picking the flares back up.
