Adding Lights

Hi there,

I've managed to add a blue and red light to both sides of the Unmarked Crown Vic but when you choose a light and you get that white cross thingy telling you where to light is, my cross seems to go into the vehicle and not on the outside of the vehicle so the lights are flashing the the middle of the vehicle and not on the window.

Also, I tried adding a red flashing light to the Paramedic hummer but the light wouldnt change at all, just would not change to red it just stayed white?

Any advice is appreciated.

Also, how do I make them in a sequence so they dont flash at the same time?

And how do I add the reflections so it reflects off the light onto the ground?

But when I move them to the outside they float in the air not on the actual vehicle..? and thats when I try and put them on the vehicle

Yes, what pmadden said. They have a really bad method of moving things (like lights) in the edit screen like that, so it takes a while to get anything where you want it.

I still cant get the lights to sit on the vehicle they just float in the air when i put them on its very frustrating!!!

Also, I tried changing the Coroners van's lights from yellow to blue, done this successfully but the reflections from the lights going on to the ground was still yellow?

Anyone know how to change this?

When you are editing the lights there is a panel in the bottom right corner with R,G and B. Have you edited those?

I've sorted the Coroners van!

So far starting from today I have changed all lights on the coroners van to blue instead of yellow!

Will keep you guys informed on my progress
