I'm trying to change my camera values, but I change it but they dont seem to work..

So can someone upload thier file with the camera values changed so I can just replace my file with that one please?

It's not that hard to change lol. Just make sure you changed the x and y values, but I don't see how it couldn't work if you did it right.

When you start a game with the new camera values you will no notice any change, you need to either zoom in or change the camera angle to notice the changes

If this is not the solution to the problem then tell us and I am sure that someone (if not me) will upload their file for your use

Hehe, I've zoomed in and everything but it still hasn't changed...

How can I get the camera hack?

To zoom in or out further and get different angles you only have to edit some settings in the configuration file.

To do that, open em4.cfg (or em4deluxe.cfg) with WordPad located in your Emergency 4 directory.

You can change the following values: mincamz, maxcamz, mincampitch and/or maxcampitch.

The screenshots on the LA mod website have been taken using the following values:

"e4_maxcampitch" value="80."

"e4_maxcamz" value="3500"

"e4_mincampitch" value="15"

"e4_mincamz" value="100."

Those values work for me...

Does the file save properly after you have edited it? You might need to change the permissions of the file.

Well i am the admin of my laptop and when ever I try and save it, it just says "Access is denied"

So, I move the file to my desktop, edit what i need to edit and then move it back to the folder I dragged it from and then it still don't work..

So I'm confused right now..

Right click the file and click properties. Click security and then edit. Then go the users bit and click full control. Then try editing the file.

I have just changed mine and it doesn't work. And I have edited the permissions and it saves fine.

Right click on your em4 shortcut and run it as admin

Are you trying to play a previously saved game after making the changes?? Typically you have to start a brand new game for it to use the new settings. At least that seems to be the only way it works for me.
