billyfromhill
Brand new, made by KME with a Peterbilt chassis, 2500 gallon tank, remote water trurret controls in cab, rear backup camera, and a LED lightbar. They have not been delivered yet. Currently they are at the KME dealership still being outfitted.

Xplorer4x4
looks like the ones LA county already havehttp://www.code2high.com/LACoFD%20Station%...cofd_wt73_2.jpgAgreed.I actually like this one better, its not an LA Unit but a county unit here. It was a 1981 Duplex/Oshkosh/Pierce Pumper/Tanker:http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/1176/tanker2ds9047865.jpgNow its still an 81 Pierce but been modified from a pumper just to a tanker. Its also been painted Red, which is a much better look for it imo.
rickyrescue
The one in the pic is smaller than the the city's but the ones up in North County are ------- huge. can fill up 6 choppers before having to find a hydrant. also 73's has a Lz across the street that can only hold 2 choppers at a time. so thats why this one is smaller
