Hi, I'm trying to make Police models in Emergency 4 similiar to Emergency 3. Example: I need the Police Female in Em4 with the hat like EM3. (the model in em4 does have a hat, but the hat is only included to the model of the Police female with jacket not normal uniform. I know that there is something to be done in zmodeler but I just dont know how. Help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Darren

ZModeler 2.2.6 (LA Mod Rescue Truck 01) Need Help ?

I need hep with ZModeler. The problem is that I successfully removed the lightbar from the Rescue Truck 1 model. After that I just exported it to v3o and then copy it and replace it in to the mod. I opened up the Em4 editor and then when I load up the Rescue 1 Truck it has the WOD (White Model of Death). Can someone please help me to correct my problem and what are the correct steps to do this ?- 1 reply

Hello! I'm learning to deal with Zmodeler. I've learned how to model the side of a car ... I would like to configure my Zmodeler to facilitate, but it is difficult to find explanations ... I've tried moving the bars of the screen, but nothing changed ... How can I leave Zmodeler like this one? The screen and the colors? Taking the "squares"? I've noticed that when I'm working on models and adding more parts to them, that sometime they will be invisible in Zmodeler. The only time I can get them to show up, is if I enable "alpha reflections". But that makes my vehicle look too shiny or excessively metallic. Why does this happen? Is it related to the skin file which is a PNG format? How can I prevent that from happening?

Hey guys, I have been trying to inset an image to Zmodeler2 so I can use it as a guide to make a model. When ever I go to open the image under display/image/select image it gives me an error. This is the error it gives me. Can't obtain textures service. file:backImageLayer.cpp line:305 Any help would be much appreciated.

I just created a news van in Zmodeler. I've added the television microwave mast, satellite dish, and floodlights to the model. I've used a skin that I created and it looks great within the Zmodeler program. But when, I import the newly created model into the Em4 Editor, one small part of the model does not show up. The floodlights are not there. So, I reimported the model back into Zmodeler to see if the lights showed up there and they do. But not in the Editor.... Anyone know what I could have done wrong? I'll post a pic later on.

Hey guys I'm teaching myself modding skills on EM4, and am now reasonably competent at re-skinning, editor functions, specs, lighting and basic Zmodeler functions. However, at the moment I'm stuck on something - I've download a vehicle from the CCC, and have re-skinned it ready for use in my currently private mod (once permission has been gained it will be made public). However, I'm bemused as how to create prototypes - the wheels were provided, but I just can't fathom how to edit the file in Zmodeler to 'move' the doors into their own seperate prototype file. I was wondering if anyone could help - and explain how it's done I've tried selecting the polygons in polygon level, and then using Create >> Copy, but to no avail. As I haven't yet got permission, I can't post the file here, but if you would be willing to do this to you, I will temporarily upload it to a file hosting site and PM you the link. Anyone who does this would have my eternal gratitude and respect
