  1. Thanks, that's all I wanted to know. I assumed it but wasn't sure with the different boxes/descriptions. Would have been bad getting the wrong game on the 5th! I am sure the community will work wonders with it.
  2. Thanks! I already read that on their site, that wasn't the question. The one from Valusoft clearly states there is a scenario editor, that is the one I ordered. I didn't order a Quiksilver product, I ordered a Valusoft product, that's why I was asking are they the same game and same demo? I can't find ANY info on this Valusoft product that I ordered, is this a bogus product promising things it can't deliver or what? Thanks to anyone who understands what I am asking.
  3. Hey all, I am very confused after seeing this topic. The confusion being I would like to know what game I am getting. I played a demo for Emergency 2012 in the US, and my store has a shipping date of Jan 5, 2011. I thought EM 2012 was made by Silverlight, yet the game I bought is from Valusoft (Yet Valusoft has no info on their website regarding this title), and it says quite clearly in the pre-order info it is moddable: ValuSoft Emergency 2012 WARNING!! So does anyone know if that is the same game as the demo, when I saw this post about it not being moddable, I figured maybe the EU and US ports are different? They are different boxes and different companies. Thank you in advance for clearing up any confusion.
  4. I use all the units with the submod for all units. There is nothing like having choices with the random surprises this game throws at me. True, sometimes the changes may only be cosmetic but some people might like a certain color/unit look. The ATF's white slick-top Sedan where you can carry a Sharpshooter is absolutely key in my games. Besides, if/when more work is done on the mod it would be terrific if that time wasn't spent on removing options, but maybe adding a suspect or two more to certain incidents like Hostage/Armed Robbery situations, making more incidents, fixes, etc.

  6. If my friends have Emergency 4 and I have 911 First Responders with LA Mod 2.0 and we are playing online MP, will we be able to connect? Maybe if someone has tried this and knows, my friends want to get EM4 but will not get 911. From what I read it's the same game, and we would only be playing in LA Mod most of the time, if that makes a difference. Thank you for any help!
  7. Good idea. In armed incidents, maybe a guy or two more sometimes on the bad guys teams in a different room or area, would give them a bit more flavor.
  8. Yes thanks everyone for your help. I had never arrested the 1st one, moved them off map, and found the location of the second child on the same try.
  9. By arresting them? I can't get the child in a vehicle at all, that's what I am missing. How did you get the child to get into a police car? I tried Arrest, release, transport person in vehicle, nothing works so far. I had a feeling it was one little thing like that was keeping me from mission complete.

Good question, I went to the completed tasks pulldown, it says "All injured and dead people transported"(Also, my victims tab at bottom left says 0 for the victim count left in the play area), the only one of them that is red and incomplete is to rescue the two children. I have talked to the first child, he says "me no speak English" and I have tried most of my available units and there are no dialogue options. Arresting does nothing, I can't place them in a vehicle so not sure what I am missing on these two kids. I used 3 SAR rescue dogs and had them comb the two areas, they found nothing.
  11. yes, I arrested them. To Forensics-yes I treated the second one, as I mentioned above, the first one mentioned only has a talk option (nothing for treatment I saw), use that and the child says "What do you mean?"
  12. Yes I found both children as in the spoiler text above, I must be missing something after they are found.
  13. The parents? In the first house only, if that's what you mean, that's the first thing I do then send them off to the hospital. The mission failed message I get says because the children died. I am not sure how the children are dying when it looks like I completed all aspects of the mission.

That's weird, I found the first one you mention, but there's no option to do anything with him after the baddies are dealt with, and I found the second one you mention, so not sure why I am getting the message "mission failed." Is there something special I am missing with the first one? After you get the bad guys what did you do to resolve the 1st encounter? I talked with people in the area and sent them for medical if they need it.
  15. Hmm, thank you. I found the child mentioned above. I guess I need to find the second child, the mission keeps ending before I can get to that child though. Has anyone found the second child? Thanks for your help, this mission has me stumped.
  16. Is this the same mission in 911 First Responders LA Mod, with the abducted children or just similar? Has anyone finished that one that could provide some tips? No matter what I try I get a message the children have died before I can complete this mission. Any help would be much appreciated.
  17. Ah thank you, I was wondering about that. Once they are picked up (which is very tough) how do you put them away to make room for more? They hold onto them and I can't enter a vehicle or anything, can only drop them again. The same goes for traffic cones, I can pick them up and set them down but how do you put them away? Thanks for any help!
  18. Nothing new, I deleted the old 1.8 LA mod, and put in 2.0, my computer was down for a bit. The chase suspect was greyed out I will have to check later to see what other ones are greyed out. Thanks for your help! P.S. If anyone knows where I can get a list of hot keys for LA Mod, or 911 First Responders, no manual came with my digital download. Any help would be much appreciated.
  19. No submods installed, and it's a Direct2Drive version. Yes, unfortunately it occurs in all cars, the commands are greyed out, yet I know they worked before.
  20. Thanks for the welcome! Yea I thought it was the car, even with two officers in it, that option is still greyed out, it worked for me on the cars earlier. I thought the Chopper as well, but now both are greyed out.
  21. First of all thank you so much for your incredible work on the LA mod Hoppah! I am enjoying 2.0, the major issues have been: 1. On the deluxe map, freeplay SP, the streets get overcrowded pretty early on in the game for me. I am not sure if this is because of the new custom cars. It causes traffic snarls all over the map, and have to restart to clear it, as I spend most of my time directing traffic and not responding to incidents. 2.The first time I tried 2.0 I was able to get my officers to use the chase/suspect command, but after that every time I have tried it has been unavailable. I haven't changed anything and not sure if that was the referral in the above posts to greyed-out commands, I noticed the posted fix was for the missions, not the unit commands. That's it so far, excellent work Hoppah, the LA mod has kept me playing 911 First Responders!
