Chilean FireFighters Vehicles! [More than 30 beautyful photos] ;)
MCERT1 replied to CabroGoogleao's topic in [EN] Off Topic
Many fire services participate in a donation program. They pass on their older vehicles to departments in other countries. Once they get the trucks it takes a while to change the titles on the trucks. As another example, in post 9, picture 4 , that unit used to be an ambulance for the Columbus Fire Department in Ohio. -
The quick answer... Something was suspicious about the fire. Now, what made it a suspicious fire is the bigger question. You'd be surprised how stupid people are when they set fires... It's can be very obvious that a fire was intentionally set. Also, they may have jurisdiction on fire safety inspections, and if systems weren't working they can cite the party responsible for maintaining the system. For example, we had a fire here a few years ago where post-fire, they found most the fire safety systems and extinguishers weren't up to code, and they slammed the rental company.

Practical Ideas: Just a thought, could you change the FF on the tiller ladder to an invisible object? He seems disproportionate and weird a lot of the time. I think it would look better with just a pipe up on the extended ladder. Also, maybe some more events on the map? That's the easier things i can think of implementing. Less Pratical: I'd love to see the MCU replaced with the semi-trucks that are used. A reset command for the equipment trailers More practical uses for the equipment trailers Reskin the THW copter to Air 5 and replace the current medical copter. The LAFD Field Mechanic has a truck similar to the HES, it would be cool if it drove in to repair trucks at the station. A Rehab Air Tender Honestly though, I love everything you've ever done and I'm more than content the way it is now.

A thing that's bothered me ever since I first made that AMR skin... It should have 4 lights above the doors on back not 3, I've never had zmod, so I could never correct it.
-
I have a skinned blackhawk, Battalion Chief (BC1), and firefighters( Based on some of Mikesphotos pictures, they have appropriate lettering, helmet plates, and slightly different reflective striping) if you would like I can send them.

You can make it replace the plane, but its glitchy and a pain, and I haven't found a way to disable the plane sound.

NYPD also have a water cannon truck, an ex-P-4 crash truck called DCU (Disorder Control Unit) 1...or at least had it,the last photo I can find of it is from 2006. There's an identical truck stationed on Riker's Island too, which I'm sure could be requested by the city. As far as I know they're the only city in the US with a dedicated water cannon truck. But, police really isn't my strong information base.

Currently the national guard deploys c-130's with a special water bombardment load, also a variety of helicopters. As for ground units, any military base in a high fire area has a brush unit or two in addition to their structural apparatus. The MCAS Camp Pendleton has the most I can find. According to DoD fire, the p-29 is their designation for brush units. Also, the can be deployed for just about anything, They used to air a commercial with them at a brush fire, but they're very big and bulky.

The US National Guard has a number of units (aircraft, and ground crews) that are trained for wildland fire operations. Also many regular military bases have wildland fire equipment. I believe they're deployed in mutual aid to fires off base too.

In addition to the Haz-Tacs, there are also 10 rescue medics I believe. This shows the disposition of all NYC EMS in the 5 divisions, as well as the volunteer units -H and Z designate Haz-Tac, R designates a Rescue Medic. To Quote from another site: "FDNY deploys 36 Haz-Tac ambulances (15 BLS, 16 ALS, 5 ALS-Rescue)[/code[/s]] (They have more now). Rescue ambulance personnel are qualified in Confined Space and Collapse Rescue (40 hours each), Confined Space Medicine and Crush Medicine Syndrome (24 hours), Trench Rescue (20 hours) and High-Angle Rescue (20 hours). Personnel are rated as Hazmat Technicians II. SOC personnel receive 40 hours Trench and 80 hours High-Angle training, as well as Collapse and Confined Space training, and are qualified as Rescue Technicians II and Hazmat Technicians II.FDNY Haz-Tac ambulances are 36-inch longer than the basic Ford F-350 ambulance and have a full-width compartment added between cab and ambulance body on a Ford F-450 chassis. Haz-Tac rescue ambulances have, in addition to their hazmat equipment, rescue helmets and harnesses, rescue medical bags, and have a basic metering capability."

I've been successful in replacing units, equipment, and personnel. You must replace all files exactly. They need to have the same name as those you're replacing. i've avoided adding new units. The scripts are very precise, and won't work correctly unless you keep names the same. I'm trying to edit the primary script and maybe the map ground texture, but I just haven't had time to do it.

Correct!!! Good job

well it is in a relatively remote spot... Hint1: it's in the US Hint 2: look at the pictures background

I usually take a while to set up my assualt. I take wedges and seal all the secondary doors to the main store. I'll enter from behind the counter with both flash and sting grenades. Usually they'll either be startled or take off running (till they find the wedged doors). The trick is aggressively pursuing the runners and hit them with less lethal weapons. It doesn't always pan out, but a lot of the time the super aggressive attack pays off.

No problems It's a nice truck. Still no guesses?

Thank You, This one won't be that easy (I Hope)... Just looking for location... I doubt you can find anything else.

Picture that I see of verified ESU officers, verify they're carrying M4's. They started testing them in 2002 and as of 2009 they were definitely carrying them. However, mini's were still in the mix for non-ESU officers in 2009 according to this article: http://www.crownheig...hp?itemid=15718 Still, I from what I've found, ESU officers are the only ones to carry M4's, and it appears to be their primary weapon. For the state of New Jersey it's a little confusing. Volunteer agencies that provide EMS to a community are less regulated. First Aid squad and rescue squad are terms used by volunteer EMS agencies. As I understand it, there's no real difference

Don't know when the mods will be around so just posted this as a warning when looking at the board index since the content is inappropriate for minors.

The physician needs to talk to the director, that will bring up the log book. Prior to that you must have the physician look at the deceased to confirm they're dead. What I hate is when I accidentally do something stupid... Several times I've accidentally hit the Trendlenberg position button on a cerebral hemorrhage patient, and *poof* instant death...

yep, you're up

Looking for the department that runs it, and the boats name. * One hint, it's in the US *
