LEV Submod Members of our forum, I present to you a treat from the archives of the Los Angeles Modification. Hoppah has granted permission to release the old light equipment vehicle as a submod. Inside the folder is a detailed set of instructions, please follow them. LEV_files.zip If you need more assistance, check the adding vehicle tutorials first, then post in this thread. *NOTE* If you need help don't bother Hoppah, it's my job to provide support as the person who released the submod. All that being said, Enjoy Troubleshooting If you are having an issue and you think something is wrong. You may download these files. This first file contains the xml files for the mods Specs folder. Specs_folder.zip This second file contains the xml files for the mods Lang folder. Lang_folder.zip Important Note: If you have other unit's you've added to the mod, you will have to re-add them to these xml files. If that's the case, I suggest you simply use these files as a guide to help you repair your own files.

It will simply contain the files for it and the instructions for how to place it in the game.

I can do it tomorrow if people can wait
-
I stand corrected, it's in 1.4 and earlier.

Intresting disaster drill, a little half hearted though. The Navy crew getting blasted when they pulled up was interesting, and a good lesson too. It's interesting to see how federal centered the incident was, only the Mass Casualty Bus and Command post were non-federal units.

Just the model, I use it alot in personal modifications

I'm away from my desktop which has the files on it, and looking around it appears Hoppah has removed the older pictures with it. I can post a pic tomorrow though. It had an f250 cab with a boxback. kind of like this: Actually it looks very close to Swift Water Rescue 88 but it has a ladder on top and a small raised structure instead of the frame for the raft

I think it was 1.5 and earlier
-
I have it, I'm sure some others also have it stuck around from the older version

*New Update* Em1 (crashes after a mission or two, but stable) and Em2 (completely stable under windows 2000 compatability)work fine. I've got Em4 working better by turning off all shading. The problem is that there is another issue, missing/distorted textures: Also the rotating 3D image in the buy menu isn't working, it just shows a white box. As for Em3 it also suffers from a graphic distortion: If I fiddle with the shading options this goes away but everything gets darker. Is this maybe a codec issue? or still an incompatible graphics card? EM4 Log: EM3 Log: DX Diagnosis: Thanks in advance for any help.

The learning curve for a non-German speaking player is very steep. Checking their forums can help a lot as they try to answer all the questions they get. Also personally I found it useful to study up on German firefighting and terminology related to it. It really helped.

rainy, and dreary up here in the northeast

The department as a full paid staff assigned only to the fire department unlike most refineries and power plants I know. They're also responsible for building inspections and education classes for the other workers. As for that call number, they will also respond to accidents in the outside community, and are worked into mutual aid plans. Also they basically protect a giant lab filled with tons of flammable and toxic things, so I figure that also helps generate that call number. Remember too that false alarms, are also in that tally.

The thing is a private fire brigade really only needs to begin suppression of a fire, to buy time for other departments to arrive. For example Defense Supply Center Columbus has one engine, a tower, a command unit, a medic, and a decon trailer. The facility is a major hub for all military supplies, vehicles, and ordinance. They wouldn't be able to fight a large fire by themselves, only buy time till local departments can provide them with assistance.

I like the NIH department but I prefer the NIST apparatus. Essential they're a run of the mill industrial or private fire brigade. And at the NIH complex in Bethesda and the complex for the NIST you have a lot of labs and chemicals...Very important to keep equipment and trained staff close at hand, note all the hazmat equipment they have. There are other federal complexes that keep similar departments, even some military (USCG and Navy), but those aren't linked to specific agencies instead they are generalized as federal fire companies. I think they all are technically under the Department of Transportation though. For example: USCG Cape May, NJ and if you search on flickr there are photos of NIST and other federal fire rigs along with military ones.

When they the trauma team moves them to the other bed, select the bed press the button that calls the surgical team. The bed will move and when the surgical team arrives, have them treat the patient. Then, you will need to elect the bed again hold down the right control button If I remember correctly, and click the button that called the surgical team. The bed will move back to the original spot, then call the trauma team again, and have the doctor look at him again and dismiss the team. One of the orderlies should carry him back to his bed in the intensive care ward.
