I wouldn't say EM2012 will be too intensive.. by the screenshots, it looks to be running on the same engine and everything. Also, I won't be bothering with several models of motorbike, sorry, but you won't be able to tell the difference from the game angle and it would just be a bit of a nuisance.

If I recall correctly, someone asked about that lane-redirecting thing and someone in the team said they knew how to do it.
-
Yes, also those guns are possible to do also so they probably have done (snipers too, maybe). If you have included the SMGs and sniper rifles and such for SWAT/ESU, then I have some ideas: - With the snipers, you should make it so that when you click on a sniper, and click on a building with an interior that is close enough, he will look towards it and set up his sniper. Then you will be able to see inside. - Could you possibly make the snipers able to shoot through the windows? - Could you make them able to arrest people with the SMGs?
-
Maybe you shouldn't mark the injured people on the map until a unit spots them? that would be a nice challenge

I think RTS might be out of date then, because 30:2 is the international standard now (sorry for off-topic). Also, I like that you can call a vehicle and it won't just come instantly.. it will be great. I guess you take recordings from online FDNY & NYPD scanners and use them for audio?
-
I think the standard ratio of compressions to breaths for CPR is 30:2 now. But as for indepth medical roleplay, it would be difficult if you had a fire with lots of casualties.
-
I might, but it depends if 2012 is better than EM4. If it isn't then I will carry on with EM4.

Modelling, texturing, low-level scripting, prototypes (lights, children, etc), and maybe a little mapping. However, I would like to see some of your modelling first. I have a Dennis Sabre XL (fire engine) that you could use already made.
-
You said you don't want to put in too many automatic scripts, so I'm assuming that after calls, you have to manually click the vehicle staff and put them in the vehicle to send it home? I don't like that idea, because you can miss out people. In real life, people are responsible for themselves (and have radios) so it's not like people are going to get left at a scene in real life. It sounds like it might be complicated to make a fire engine drive to the scene, like having to select the firefighters, make them put on the suit, make them get into the engine, open the gate, etc. That's nice, unless you also have other calls to attend to... Not to give the wrong idea, I am looking forward to more updates/the release

Might lend a little hand, depends on how the mod goes in other areas.
-
It is possible that this mod will not continue past EM2012's release, unfortunately, although I will continue to model things behind the scenes. Of course, this depends on the quality of the new game (hopefully, Emergency 2012 will include everything currently featured in Emergency 4, plus more, otherwise it doesn't have my purchase and the mod will continue on EM4).

If I worked for the government or whoever manages the lights, I would replace them completely if that's how they reacted when the bulbs blew Electrical hazard much? I think it's something else. Who knows though.

Very nice!

What about prank/false calls?
-
You should change the back of it, it doesn't look realistic, I've never seen a fire engine without locker bays...

That's 1930s Poland - before the People's Republic.

Riot gear = the cops with shields and batons

I like all the progress are you going to add HEMS (they run helicopters and use Skodas as High Speed Rapid Response)? By the way, Dog Section cars have a triangle on the roof, not a circle. Armed Response Vehicles have a sort of asterisk-type thing instead. I think this is a national code that applies to everywhere within the United Kingdom, because it's the same where I live. You can just about see it here: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4048/4505873000_47de146051.jpg

Firefighter training!

You can call it "Pearl" mod, then it's like PRL but Pearl instead. Xplorer could've been a bit more polite in that, cause basically just replying along the lines of "screw your country/mod (AmeRiKa1!11!), change your damn name" comes off a bit dicky in my opinion, but he has a true point.
-
Looks like maybe the European "New York Mod" equivalent! do you have limited tanks for the fire engine then? So if the engine isn't connected to a fire hydrant, it will run out of water soon?
-
Probably the tank, because the BMW isn't that significant xD

Looks good.

Like in Winterberg mod, they have the fog of war thing, you could do something like that but smoke coloured and only in the area of the building.
