    Then you would need two seperate models, one for each design. I believe that FFW TUT and his team at the NY mod had figured out a way to have unit numbers change from skin to skin on the same model using childs on the model, but that's as far as it's ever gone.

    Actually they do. The standard NYPD light package for an unmarked car is a dual led light in the passengers visor area, two lights behind the grill, two dual red/white or red/blue lights (depending on when the year) on the back deck, and headlight and taillight flashers. There are a bunch of cars that don't have this setup. I still see them with the old rotator lights from the old day, to ones with different led setups and everything in between. I even saw one with an old rotator light mounted on the dash with an led light right behind it.

    a fire can happen anywhere on the map, it's not scripted so, yes, there should be fires at least at ground zero if nothing else

    The ten house is covered by battalion 1 which covers the Ten House, Duane Manor, Wall Street, and the Tigers, which you guys already have in the mod. As for possibly adding battalion 9, I think it would be a good idea, it's the busiest battalion chief in the city.

    I agree it's not an issue, but you can definitely tell the difference in a dispatchers voice when they dispatch an MVA if it's a roll over with entrapment or a "you put a dent in my fender and now I need to get your info" MVA.

    there's not much point in it except it looks nice. The SOC rebreather units just carry special SCBAs that have a second tank on them to collect the CO2 the FF breathes out and turns it back into O2 allowing for the FF to operate longer. They could think about it if they scripted the SCBAs to work for a limited time.

    NYPD has two types of detectives. The first is detective investigator, which is what most people think of when they think of detectives, who actually investigate crimes. The second type is detective specialist, which is essentially a corporal in any other department. They have specialized skills and training that regular officers don't have, and are assigned to units such as ESU, bomb squad, aviation, or CSU.

    Kind of. Each squad has three trucks, two of the light rescues on the super duty chassis (REPs) and on heavy rescue on the mack chassis. The two REPS patrol the squads coverage area with two detectives each and the mack stays at the station until needed and responds with two detectives and the squad sergeant.

    Out of curiosity, why is Auxiliary wearing white uniforms? They wear dark blue uniforms like the rest of the NYPD. Other wise I love the mod so far.

    Rescue, Squad, and Ladder companies have a chauffeur, officer and 4 fire fighters assigned per shift, and Engine companies have a chauffeur, officer, and three fire fighters assigned per shift.

    Great job guys, it all looks great. If you guys are looking LRAD sounds check out the whale wars tv series page. The Sea Shepherds have had it used on them and you can hear it going off on the show. I don't if you can extract the audio from any of the clips, but it could probably give you a good idea of what the LRAD actually sounds like.

    I agree that this is just a copy of the original. The hometown requirement is also a bad one since it' limit's everyone to one turn.

    Does this happen with all your mods or just the LA mod? If it happens with all of them there might be a problem with your mod installer, or if it's only with the LA Mod, there may be a problem with the way you are downloading it. Try clearing your internet cookies, I believe that Stan had said that doing that may fix the problem.

    Yes, each different section (traffic, homicide, vice, and arson) each have a free play section. The only differences between them are the street crimes you get and who your partner is. You basically just run around the city looking for the collectibles or responding to the street crimes in each level.
