Guess the Emergency Vehicle Challenge
firefighter111 replied to Newfoundking's topic in [EN] Off Topic
I thnk you probably one, but I'll guess anyways. this is based off basically nothing, but I'll say Washington D.C. Fire department based on the decal on the front of the rig that looks like the presidential seal. -
Most of the time, I will say that it's due to someone being an idiot and these two stories show it. Town of Wallkill police accident now for my story, got this one from a couple of cops at the fire house. Couple of officers were finishing up whatever they were doing and getting back in their patrol cars. They all had their emergency lights on, and there was a patrol car on either side of the road. One cop tried to make a k turn in the road and ended up getting hit by another car. As for the road conditions, they were perfectly fine, and the road has good visibility. To top it all off, the guy was an asshole with the cops as soon as they started talking to them. Now in my opinion, if there's some reason that you can't notice a group of police cars with emergency lights on, then I don't think you should really be driving.

Are we still waiting for GeraldTill or are we waiting on AgentSmith6's pic? -

AgentSmith6 was right, and it's not really an unmarked car. The Honolulu Police has officers use their own POVs at work since gas is expendive on the island, and it would cost a fortune and take a long time for regular marked police cars to get their. -

since nobody seems to want to go, I'll go. click here to see the image -
Nice video Hoppah. Is there a reason though that you didn't include the EMS system in the video?
-
the concept drawing was done back in 2002, acorrding to where I found it. Based on the new look of Fords civillian sedans, and the fact that they're pretty much bankrupt, I don't know if well eve see that car
-
where did you find that, cause it doesn't even have the right paint scheme for a NYPD vehicle. @Newfound King: what are drug sniffing horses?
-
According to what I've read, they're expecting it to cost between $25,000 and $75,000, depending on how its configured. That's about what a current modified sedan like a crown vic would cost, so if they're right about the price, then I think it'll come down to the vehicles features.
-
Finally, someone has come up with the idea that since fire fighters' have custom fire trucks, and EMTs' have cutsom ambulances, maybe police officers' should have custom patrol vehicles, rather than modified sedans. I really hope that this new car takes off, because other than having the light bar built into the roof, they look and sound awsome Carbonmotors.com

it's really not that long a time period for an ALS ambulance to return to the hospital.

Mikey, wery nice new models. Also, Hoppah, I like the fact that you're open to replacing such small things such as civillian cars to increase the realisim of the mod.

You're clearly right, so I'd say just go ahead with your pic, because MCERT1 hasn't logged on since last month, and it's not fair to hold up the game since he isn't hear to say if you're right. -
the main reason for fire police is for volunteer departments to be able to help keep there membership busy rather than loosing them as soon as their too old to go into a burning building. volunteer departments also have fire police for the reason above.
-
Some departments are mixing rotator lights and LED togeather now. I've seen on several NYPD units now where they've taken the rotator parts out of each little bubble on their light bars, and replaeced each one with a four sided square LED, so maybe port police is doing that too. but all in all, it's not a big deal

A volunteer department that has 8 engine companies? I've never heard of one, but they must be a big department. -
