  1. I Knew that I'd be too easy. Guess I should have checked before picking Orlando, seeing as Orlando is written on each truck 10 times
  2. This one might give it away but it's the best one that I could find that was bigger.
  3. can I go with a new department all together, because I can't find another pic that doesn't have the departments name on it.
  4. Barrhead County No. 11, Alberta Cananda Regional Fire Service.
  5. Station 15 - Wallaceton Fire Company Wallaceton PA
  6. Thought this was interesting, although I must say that it's a very good idea. The way the economy's going, they probably wouldn't get much for a used 20 year old engine, but this way people see it as a deal at $50.00 a ticket, and if they sell every ticket, that's $50,000, which is what I assume they would get once they eventually sold it, though I'm not sure. Here are the spec's on the engine 1987 Seagrave Pumper 1250 GPM Pump 400 Gallon Tank Poly-Tank Total Pump Replacement 3 Years Ago Cosmetic Rehab 3 Years Ago Detroit Diesel 6V92 Allison Automatic Transmission 123,000 miles Updated Light Package 4 Door Cab and Seating For 6 EVERYTHING WORKS!!!! here's the link if anyone's interested. engine raffel
  7. New Market Volunteer Fire Company Station 15 or 25, New Market Maryland
  8. In reality, there's no difference between any of the types, they all have the same equipment, just arranged to fit differently in each body.
  9. can someone either say if he's right or just go please.
  10. pumper = engine Ladder = truck heavy rescue = rescue water tankers = tankers Cheifs vehicles = cars ALS & BLS ambulances = ambulance (run seperatly from the fire department in my area) brush fire unit = brush truck all apparatus in my county has a county designation based on which department it belongs to and what part of the county and mutual aid system it's in. EX T-633, T for truck, 6 for Battalion 6 (part of the county mutual aid plan), 3 for the number of the department in the battalion, and 3 for the number of the unit in the department, most people use those numbers to identify the unit's, both on and off the radio. EX" 633, car1, be advised were on scene, heavy smoke showing"
  11. Very good! I was going to use it's sister engine (also a brand new KME) but First it had Middletown NY written on it in large letters, and also I just think it looks ugly. Middletown NY Engine 6
  12. Yes to the department and city, but not the state. This one will be a little harder to figure out since it's been in service less than a week, so there are very few pics of it online.
  13. All Right then here's my pic. I'd like the Department, State, and City.
  14. we guessed because it's his turn, and he posted a picture.
  15. I tried that, but I couldn't get any decent pictures of police cars from portugal, and since the cars looked very similar to the ones from spain, I guessed spain.
  16. both those cars are from spain, although I don't know the exact place in spain.
  17. Hey Mike, quick question. This may be a bit of a stupid question, but if you look at the board that lists all of the medical units in the area of Rampart General Hospital in the tv series Emergency!, there are two units at the bottom that say RAs rather than squads. Know I know that this could be stupid since it's a fictional tv show and the hospital doesn't really exsist, but I know there was a big push to make the show realistic, with them using the same equipment, apparatus, and even actors who were also LACoFD personell. My question is, was LACoFD actually experimenting with RA's in the 1970s, or was that just somthing the show added in? I guess it also could have been some RA's from a nearby fire department, since LACoFD and LAFD aren't they only FDs in the county.
  18. My guess on the DHS seal would be that the rigs with the seal on them were purchased with a DHS grant, and putting the seal on the truck was similar to eriting somthing like "this vehicle was purchased with U.S. Department of Homeland Security funds."
