Help with DDS converter 2.1

Well, now I've run into a major problem. It somehow switched so it opens with acrobat reader instead of windows shell, and I can't get it back to opeaning with windows shell. -

Yes, and I double checked that it was unpacked/unlocked. I have also made sure that the file was renamed to it's original name. This is the error I get. -
When I try an convert a .dds formated file using dds converter 2.1 I get an error message that says it can't load the filr and that the conversion failed. I'm trying to reskin Hoppah's models and I've followed the tutorial on that, so it should work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

really nice idea, as for the fixing the traffic problem, is it fixed to the point where we can use the redirect command? @MT275: the only time EMS transports a dead body is when the patient dies in the back of the ambulance, otherwise the corener/ME investigators come to pick them up, because as the name inplies, they do invetigate the death on scene.

I said he should either resking the diver to be a swiftwater rescue personell, or reskin the swat heavy rescue as the dive truck. I know there'd be no added benifit to having a dive truck, I just put it there because there's a diver in the game. And you do need the diver for when you have to attach the hook for the crane to get the car out of the water. Now let Hoppah decide what he wants to do, it's his mod.

I did, but I completely uninstalled the mod and then reinstalled the mod when I took it out. That does kinda make sense that that's where it came from. @ Hoppah: After some research I found somthing that might be useful to the mod. As far as I can see, The LAFD does swift water rescue, and the LAPD does dive operations. I mention this because in the mod, there are divers for the water rescue missions. My thought would be either just reskin the diver to be a person wearing a swift water rescue suit, or you could make the diver a police unit (if that's possible) and then reskin the LAPD swat heavy rescue to the LAPD dive rescue unit. I'm just putting these ideas out there, because they'd be two easy ways to make the mod more realistic. Sorry if this pisses you off.

You couldn't put it in the regular ambulance space. You could try putting it in the heavy rescue's space, you could probably fit two in there.

I was playing around in the editor yesterday and I discovered theirs a vehicle named engine 51. The vehicle is only a missing model box, with lights, so I was just wondering what happened with it?

Saturday Night/Sunday Morning got an ems call for a person in a car in the woods having a seizure. Ambulance, our captian and pd went out looking for him, but couldn't find him. about 15 mins into the search call came in for an mva about 5 mins away and we (the ambulance) were sent to that. Arrived on scene to find a car pinned between the edge of an embankment and a tree about 5 feet above the ground with an unresponsive passenger entrapped. Me and another member of the crew took the rest of the people from the car into the rig to work on them while the rest of the crew and FD worked on getting the passenger out. One of the passengers happened to mention that the guy in the car had had a seizure and he called 911, we asked him where they were when that happened, and the guys location matched up with the original call. our captain wasn't happy after looking for that call for half an hour when they weren't there. Luckily the unresponsive guy didn't wake up till they had him restrained, cause he flipped a sh*t. on the way to the hospital, the rig had to pull over and everyone including the driver had to hold this guy down while the medic gave him some tranquilizers. fun night.

Just watched last nights Family Guy episode, and I think that the whole Hannah Montana story line is what's going on with Hoppah. Sixteen tons created the perfect mod making android, Hoppah, so that we'll all buy the new version of emergency to play his mod. That way the make a whole bunch of money even though his mod is free. Just kidding, again though, great job Hoppah , two quick questions though. 1. with patch 3, does redirecting now not screw up the map? It's not really a big deal, I just was wondering. 2. Is there anyway to make it so some people are DOA during medical emergencies or car crashes, just cause I find it kinda unrealistic (and a little annoying) that I save everyone during my freeplay sessions, so I never get to use the coreners unit, unlesss I let the people die, and then I feel bad. Just two things I was wondering, I'm not asking you to put them in the mod or anything like that, cause I know you're not a big fan of people who are "put this car in the mod cause it's cool looking, even though it would have no functionality amnd I'm not sure that it's even real, but put it in the mod anway, just cause I want it. please, please, please, please, please."

Hey guys, what keys on the keyboard do you press to zoom in and out? This is the first time I've ever played the game without a mouse wheel, and since i have the downloaded version of 911 first responders, it didn't come with a manuel. Thanks.

I found 2 bugs, but one could not be from this submod. 1. the new coast guard helicopter doesn't actually land when you tell it to, you just see the animations, the game still thinks it's flying, and you can't use any of the commands you could use if it where on the ground. 2. This is the one that might not be from the submod. When I play freeplay, at one point, white triangles will cover the map, and the only way to fix it is to quit and restart the game. If it's not from the submod though, it's a Patch 3 bug, because this is the only alteration I've made to the mod since patch 2, and I've never had the problem before. I'll try and get a pic of it when it happens again.

Last night after the Yankee game, was listening to my scanner since I was on call for ems. Heard PD get dispatched for a hit and run mva. 10 seconds later, fire was rolled for a car fire at the same location, then my pager went off for a 2 car mva at the same location. Medic unit gets on scene and says it's a 1 car roll over. ended up being a car vs. tree mva, don't know where the rest of the descriptions came from.

Hey guys, so I've recently started playing around with hooking up my laptop to a secondary monitor from my previous desktop, and while doing this, I came up with a couple of questions. 1. How can I make it so videos and games use both screens, I know that windows xp had somthing called dual view, which I guess did that, but I was wondering of I needed special equipment for that, or if I don't, could someone just tell me how to do that? 2. Is there any way to bypass my laptop screen, and have my two screens be two other monitors? I'm definitly going to be purchasing a new monitor, because my old desktop one is acient, and if I could do that, I would consider getting two new monitors. Thanks, Firefighter111

Submod: New Freeplay map v1.2 Released!

I don't know if anybodys realised this yet, but when you call the tiller from off the map, it spawns without the trailer. I don't know if it was me or the mod, but since I didn't do anything except put in the new files for the map, I'm assuming it's the mod. Anybody else have this problem? -
The idea for the two medics is good, It just doesn't work good in thee game. THis is because in real life, once the patient's in the ambulance one medic stays in the back and does treatment and the other one drives the bus. In the game though, both medics stay as the stretcher crew and don't heal the victim.
