  1. One more hint. It's close enough to NYC that the FDNY would run mutual aid there if the incident was large enough.
  2. First, there are no missions in this mod. Second, the SCBA mask in game give the FFs another level of protection, rather than their real function of providing oxygen, and I don't know if you could change that.
  3. The FDNY doesn't use them, so what's the point of discussing them in this topic?
  4. Nope, I'll make the search area a little smaller, it's on the northern half of the eastern U.S coast
  5. no to all, and why would you guess two cities I already said no to?
  6. I'll give you guys a hint, it's on the east coast of North America.
  7. Not Modesto or England, and I want more than a country.
  8. why don't we get a few more guesses before I give a hint.
  9. I don't know that that's possible.
  10. As Newfoundking stated, the rule is 24 hours, so until I hear from him that my pic's no good, I'm going to assume that it is good.
  11. what more would you want them to do? The point of the game is that in fire emergencies, you are the chief, so would you want the game to play itself for you?
  12. Some people like to role play a little bit, so, using the LA mod as an example, they put CHP on the highway, and have other police cars and whatnot setup around the city. I usually save a freeplay game that has the setup I like as soon as I set it up, that way I can just start a new freeplay game with the setup already done and not have to do it again. With the maps switching during the game in this mod though, it won't really be that big a deal.
  13. There not against the law in New York, it's just FDNY SOP not to use them in areas with high rises due to the echo problem, and sicne some companies can't use them because of the SOP, the FDNY just doesn't pay for them on any rig, and left it up for the companines to go out and finance the Q's themselves.
  14. Can you either explain the new nozzel or blanket things better or find pictures of them, cause I don't understand what you're taking about. The repealing harness has nothing to do with bailouts, it's used for FAST (RIT) operations, for bailouts, they just throw a rope out the window and go down. It'd be a huge and probably fatal waste of time to hook into a repealing system during an explosion for bailouts.
  15. Hey guys, I want to get a new scanner that's a base and has trunking abilities. I've pretty much made up my mind on the BCT15X from Uniden, but was wondering if anyone here used one and had an opinion. Also, if anyone knows some good software to allow for remote monitoring of your scanner that doesn't cost a huge amount (under $100), let me know about that too. Thanks

    Q.R.A.

In the past several years the NYPD has changed it's fleet to look completely the same. The only differences between axillary and patrol cars is that the axillary ones say axillary, like in the picture. The whole idea is to make the NYPD patrol divisions seem larger than they really are to help bring down crime levels. @QRA team: the models look amazing. I saw two small things with the lights though. On the unmarked patrol car, there is usually a dual red/white led light in the upper right corner. Also on the marked patrol cars with the new LED lighting, the last LED on the left and right have rear blue LEDs.
