    NYPD does harbor patrol, so all they'd really need to do is make an NYPD boat, but it'd serve no point in the game, so I don't think they'll add it.

    I think the setup is that you can either call your own units by yourself, or you can use there system which follows standard NYC dispatch policies. So you could either call for a 10-75 and get 4 engines, 3 ladders, 2 battalion chiefs, 1 rescue if available, and 1 squad if available, or you can call your own units like you do in the normal game.

    Those aren't preconnects in those pictures. A preconnect is an attck line that stays connected to the engine and can then just be pulled off the truck and used without having to worry about attaching it. Preconnects have nothing to do with attaching an engine to a hydrant.

    When did they say that preconnects will be used. As I understood it, you would be able to hook hoses up to an engine, but I didn't see anything about preconnects.

    While I'm not sure, I think that mast is for cameras. That's the Command Tactical unit, which responds to second alarms and greater around the city to provide both the on scene incident commanders and the fire department's operation center with multiple live video feeds.

    To the best of my knowledge, the FDNY doesn't have any rigs with light masts, all though I'm not 100% sure. Almost all the SOC units have floodlights built into the rig, and the engines have a few small lights over the pump panel. I don't know if the New ferrara rescues will have them though.

    Since you guys seem to be able to do anything with modding, will there be a difference between the 75' tower ladders (i.e. ladder 1), and the 95' tower ladders (i.e. ladder 14). Not that it really makes a difference but you guys are amazing with modding and seem to be adding every little detail into the mod, so I thought I'd ask.

    The only thing I don't like about the federal singal is that you have to turn off the bar to change the colors.

    The EQ2B is an electronic version of the Q so you wouldn't see a Q anywhere on the truck. That Quit definitely has a regular Q.
