  1. Even your simplest run, such as an automatic alarm is going to take time, since you have to clear the whole building. What I'm saying is that it's physically impossible to do that many fire runs in 24 hours.
  2. That would mean that each run was, at the longest, 24 minutes. Otherwise, it's not possible, and I don't think that there's any way you can do 30 fire calls back to back without one being more than 24 minutes.
  3. There is no company in the department that does over 30 calls a night. On average, the busiest companies in the department do between 12 and 15 runs in a 24 hour period.
  4. They said there'd be no helicopters.
  5. No, and if you don't give me what I asked for, I'm not going to accept the correct answer.
  6. The actual building in the picture might be Westchester, but it's not the one based there, since lifenet left WCMC. I heard they moved into Stewart Intl airport with the NYSP medevac bird, which I find surprising, since Orange County isn't really a big area for medevacs.
  7. That's getting a little close to asking for a release date, so if I were you, I would not ask similar questions again unless you want the 2 day suspension from the moderators.
  8. Nope and after rereading what I posted, I felt that I should make something clearer. When I said that I wanted the designation, I meant that I wanted what it was known as. See the example below. EX: If I was to post this picture for you to guess You would say it's engine 82. So I want that for my pic.
  9. I would like the helicopter's designation, base, and service name.
  10. I just put the image name, foto 1Ecuador_fire_truck.jpg, into a Google image search, and it was the first image, and there was a whole story about this lady trying to get Montecristi better ppe and equipment. Hint for everyone: make sure you change the name of the images that you upload, because they show up beneath the picture when anyone looks at it, and if you don't, then it's too easy.
  11. Yes, there will be no missions, but the freeplay aspect of this mod will be greatly enchanced
  12. What does this mean? I assume you used a translator.
  13. I think they're making their own tutorial.
  14. Could be either a patrol area, I.e. a pd unit patrolling the Alpha sector would be the Alpha car, or it could be a acronym for some type of special service the patrol division provides like a DWI unit. Does anyone know why in NJ, departments in one town will call themselves companies and will number themselves like 1 department when they are each separate departments? Like in Vernon Township, there's Vernon Co.1, McAfee Co.2, Highland Lakes Co.3, and Pochuck Valley Co.4, yet they all operate as separate departments with their own chiefs and everything.
  15. The collapse rescue unit is not the same as a Rescue company rig. It carries equipment for collapse and trench rescue, so it's more like a LAFD USAR company. Also, they are not staffed by rescue companies, but they're cross staffed by the companies they're stationed with, except for collapse rescue 3, which is staffed by rescue 3 as a second piece, since Rescue 3 is the city's collapse company and responds to all collapses city wide. pics of the current collapse rigs @Tambola: there is no such thing as NYPD riot police, officers are just trained in riot control and then when needed, they use that training and equipment.
  16. Didn't realize the photographers name was at the bottom of the pic. You're up.
  17. A second alarm (signal 2-2) is 4 engines, 2 ladders, 2 battalion chiefs, safety and rescue battalions, 1 satellite, 1 tactical support unit, the command tactical unit, and a field comm. rig above the above an all hands assignment. since questions about how the fire dispatch continually come up, I will post a link below to the general dispatch policy for the FDNY http://www.fdnewyork.com/aa.asp
  18. I would like the state, department, and the location of where the truck is stationed
  19. Tanker 62 Southwest Fire Department Ohio Township Bartholomew County, Southwest Indiana, Indiana @ TacticalRooster22: Always save the picture to your computer and then use the upload feature on the post to add it, otherwise we get the complete url address when we click on reply and all we have to do is plug that into our web browser to get all the info.
