I feel whats currently unrealistic is the number of units at each station. Where I live generally stations have an engine and ladder, with the HQ having engine, ladder, BC, and sometimes a special unit. Essentially I feel basing it off of stations from areas such as Boston or NYC, having fewer units per station and mroe stations would be realistic. Therefore I am abstaining my vote.

One idea: I've noticed especially when there are larger riots it is difficult to have to individually select an officer then rioter to "deal" with. Is there any way where you could select a group of officers and add a disperse crowd command or somethign where they each arrest someone...or no?

As time goes on with this mod I see that it is getting better and better. However with this comes somes fear, I feel that it will be to much for the game at some point and was wondering just how complex you intend for the end product to be? Because the more complex something is, the more prone it is to problems and bugs.

That would certainly add to the realism, since in real-life I don't think engines have ever fed more than 2 attack lines, otherwise their would by an issue with the pressure or not enough water

Has anyone ever tried to make the rediretional lights tell vehicles to move into another lane and pass rather than turn around??

Is the map itself bigger then previous maps, or is it the same but layed out differently?

I just had an amazing idea. Have an iccident where you have to locate a person, but do not show who it is. You have to manually question people asking if they have any info and you must close in. This could be a long-term assignment and not be restricted to time and not have risk of the suspect running off the map. Feel free to build or critic it.

I mainly meant more reskins. I really enjoy this submod, mainly cause its my city, but adding a few more would make it even better. In my opinion small changes such as removing the LA hazmat and replacing it with a different ladder reskin or Boston haz-mat. I also really liked how you put in the Revere ladder. Whenever there is a large fire I call that increasing the realism, and adding an engine from Revere would be awesome. Also I've noticed that the Boston ladder seems "lighter" in colo then everything else. It may just be my computer but I was wondering on that. Other ideas I had just included reskinning the unit number. I'm in the process of learning to reskin myself. So if you ever change your mind let me know. -
are NYC FFs gonna have the emt or paramedic option, because in reality I think most are CFRs and not trained as highly as some may think?

I can see the vehices fine and target them. But I cannot move them and they have no commands? Could you post a working set with this on top of the LA mod, i cannot get it to work -

I did that but i could not control anything, but it was all there?? -
I recently got a new submod and I tried to put in the models, but it had to be done manually. When I go into the game I see the models but I cannot move any of the vehicles and they have no commands? Any ideas??

Thank you so much for this reskin, Boston being my hometown means Boston FD beats all But I've been having some trouble installing them correctly. Can you make a guide to installation? -

how do/are the one way streets gonna work? It seems there may be some trouble keeping them "on track"

I don't remember if this was ever released but will the engines be required to set-up a supply line for water or no?

Sorry. The way I read it was that most people beleived their would only be one station on the freeplay map and others on additional maps. However seeing there is/can only be one map I stated that there will...most likely...be at least 2 if not more stations on the map.

....Must I prove everyone wrong....not to be mean. But if you were to watch one of the videos you will notice what I beleive to be the Ten house, and we have seen photos of the house for E7 L1 B1, so right there are 2 "guaranteed" houses. For some reason I remember someone saying Squad 61 would not have a house in v1 and that it is one of the units which will come from off map. I'm still very interested to see how otehr units such as ambulances,"cough" RACs "uncough", MERV, etc. respond. BTW FFW TUT I got a new graphics card so dont hold back on anything. Keep up the good work.

I just noticed the picture of the newer tower ladder in progress, under the modeling division on page 1. Are there any of those ladders in service in the area of where the mod may take place?

I understand what you're trying to say, but in reality it all depends on the outcome of the mod. I'm not saying anything specific about the release, but in my opinion it seems to be getting closer. It seems that more information is being held from us and fewer updates....building suspense.

Everyone has been asking for realism, and putting a time constraint in between calls is not realistic. In my opinion it should have no restriction. If their happen to be 4 fires at once in NYC there not gonna say to someone oh you have to wait, they just call more units to respond. I understand why you say that however. At times such as in the LA mod I have wished to not have so many calls at once. reason being my graphics card gets screwy when their is to much happening.

I don't know if this is the right file but this may help. I will try to get photos later tonight of the specifics. It is not that I'm getting a white object instead of the model, but the model is partially brighter in places making it seems like its failing or something. It happened and I was on almost minimum setting. I know it appears to be fine, but the lighting has greatly increased above what it originally was and often is not as "clean" as it is on the above picture. It often is triangle shaped leaving half the original color half brightened ================================================================================ ================================================================================ Solved all problems with a new gaphics card...w000t logfile.txt

Almost everytime I play Emergency 4, the LA mod specifically I end because of graphics issues. The problem is that certain models and vehicles become a brighter color along a certain point. Also the map becomes brighter throughout, or portions of the squares which make up the map become fully or portionally messed up. This does not happen if I use the plain old emergency 4 game, and if I am to scroll of a vehicle which normally highlights it you can see that while highlighted the color ir normal for how it would be if there were no issue. I have watched numerous videos of people playing this modification and it appears there game runs much more smoothly than mine. Another issue is the rotating example of each vehicle in the vehicle selection screen, which in my case is always a plain white. I have reinstalled both the game and mod before, whihc does not solve anything. The main problem I want to get rid of is the graphic change while playing, but in general I would like it to run as smoothly as it appears to for other people. I will try to captures some photos of the issues when I play later.
