First off, I apologize if this has been answered in a thread. I promise I did a forum search and I couldn't find the answer. Which file do you delete so you have to call all units in when you start a new game. I prefer to use some different staffing on certain apparatus other than what most mod creators use in a SP. I've done this before, but I cannot remember for the life of me. Thanks! Edit: This should be in em4 mod support not em5 sorry!

Itchboy asked for tones, not a station siren. Tones are what your dispatcher drops over the radio to set off Minitor pagers and station sirens like you linked above. We still run our siren at our station. Everything in the fire service is about tradition really. Alot of stations in my area still have those. Across the river if they get a structure fire and alert all four companies, four whistles go off. It has nothing to do with communication other than letting the public know there is an emergency that fire department personnel are responding to. Possibly for weather warnings as well such as tornado, severe thunderstorm etc. Read above. also, what do you think they did before texting and or pagers? There were no cells phones back in 1990 and before unless you had the big mobile phone in a bag, which not many people did.

Amazing mod. I dont post here often but I try out all the mods that are US based. Coming from a combination department (Paid/Volunteer) and being a line officer for my company, I absolutely love this mod. I have some lag, but nothing un-playable (I have a gaming rig luckily). I love the realism. Everything is extremely well done. Kudos to you guys big time, this mod is one of a kind and I love what you guys are doing. The only question I have is: How do you get the ladder trucks master stream to work? Sorry if i'm missing something stupid and wasting forum space but i've tried hooking them to hydrants and the operator on the tip doesn't do anything. The commands to cool/extinguish are still grayed out. Do you have to pump from an engine to the ladder? I haven't tried that but it looked like a Quint so I figured it would have its own pump on it, it looks similar to the 2003 E-One we operate at my station. I didn't see a pump command on a FF/EMT when they are standing idle next to it. Otherwise I cannot wait for the next patch to fix some of the little bugs. For anyone who says this un-playable you need to either A.) Upgrade your rigs (Cmon guys its 2014 ) or B.) learn to overcome some simple bugs and crashes. It isn't hard to disable a vehicle and extinguish quickly call tow. Great mod guys!!!!!!!

There is a video, where they are toned out for Automatic alarm on burning highway in the plant. I have that dl'd as a station tone in my game.

Hey guys, you can probably tell that I love firefighting or emergency services in general just because I play this game and because I'm posting on these forums, but I've always wanted to become a firefighter. I've already graduated from high school, and have gotten good grades all throughout. Firstly, to begin I don't know where to look to get any training to become a firefighter. I mean, I've google'd and haven't found anything legitimate. So if any of you guys have any sources or schools, or anything, please post it here. (By the way, I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area.) Secondly, I am a type 1 Diabetic. I've read online if you take good care of it and have a doctor sign off saying so, it isn't a problem at all, but I've also read you can't be a Firefighter if you do have type 1. Can anyone please give me some clarification on this? Like I said this has always been a dream, but might not be possible due to the way some things are, so if you guys could give me some hints or any help I'd appreciate it.
