  2. Hi Guys and Gals, Sorry for the delay. Additional Vehicles Submod for Los Angeles Mod v1.8 with AMR version 2 has now been released and can be found in the first post of this topic. The submod includes both AMR ambulances (1 modelled off the vintage ford, one "box style" critical care ambulance). I have not replaced the Vintage or LAX ambulances, they remain in the game and the AMR units are completely new additions. I have made a few other variations on the original that should be noted, I have removed Battalion Chief 2 and EMS 2, as I feel the map size does not warrant a second BC or EMS supervisor. Anyone who would like those re-included let me know and if there is enough interest I will release an addition. I hope you find this version worth the wait. I have had limited testing time so if there are any issues, I am truly sorry, please let me know and I will look into any as a matter of urgency. Enjoy, and take care Shane

  4. Hi Malteaser, I imagine that the problem is that you need to create a VO_SQUAD_Station3 which covers the areas that the new vehicles are parked. Then create a VO_SPAWN_STATION3 point where you want the units to spawn (if you have not already done so) then add them into your Firestation.script. If you have done so then you need to edit the ToFirestation.script to recognise the new spawn/squad point and link them to the vehicles that you have parked there. It would probably help more to have a look at what you have done with the script. Congratulations on your sucesses with the scripting and taking the time to learn. Well done Take care Shane
  5. If I get permission, my intention is to include the LEV model, it is slightly different, to match the markings of the HES in the submod.
  6. update Still have not heard back regarding permission to include LEV. If no news by monday, I think I will release the submod without LEV for now.
  7. Yes. The original "vintage style" has been re-coloured to match this one and both will be in version 2 of my submod. Just awaiting permission on another skin then will be available for download. Take care Shane
  8. Domestic dispute gone sour ! Monday 10th August 2009, 11:45 am. Patrolling CHP unit encounters young girl in distress. Child advises of a domestic dispute in the family home with her older brother brandishing a gun. 3 other occupants of house are mother, father and uncle. CHP officer requests additional units to establish perimeter with 3 further CHP units responding. CHP central contacts LAPD advising of the situation and requesting assistance at the scene. LAPD responds a nearby unmarked unit, car 06, SWAT SUV 1 and 2, and Polair 1, to the scene. SWAT arrives and sets up internal surveillance and prepares immediate entry posture in case of escalation. LAFD responds EMS 1 Paramedic unit to stand by. Negotiator begins dialogue with suspect who requests a vehicle, threatening to harm occupants if his demands are not met. Agreement reach to gain time for development of entry plan by SWAT. Shouting and screaming from within the house forces an immediate dynamic entry by SWAT officers, who enter to find suspect with gun raised towards relative. SWAT officers "take down" suspect with single short burst from MP5. Suspect disarmed and assessed in serious condition. Other occupants taken into custody and led outside for processing. House secured before requesting medical assistance for suspect. Paramedic attends to suspect whilst Supervisor requests AMR for transport. AMR transport arrives and patient loaded onto stretcher and removed from house for transport. Paramedic accompanies patient in serious but stable condition.
  9. That is correct. The Light Equipment Truck (LEV) is not included in the package so it will not appear once the files are overwritten. I have PM'ed MCERT1 to obtain permision to add the LEV to the package and that should solve the problem. I am just awaiting a reply. Other than that the new package is ready to go and should be available soon. Take care Shane
  10. Our patron saint of EM4 mods " Saint Hoppah " has kindly given permission for the release of the new AMR Critical Care Transport Ambulance. I will now add it to the submod as an extra vehicle.   11. Thanks Luisinho, I am not sure that changes of that scope would be considered appropriate, but I guess I could check with Hoppah. I still have a slight change to perfect, that is to park the SWAT Command vehicle lengthways at the back. I have my SWAT teams set up so that I have 2 SWAT SUV's (modelled from the FBI) which each have 1 negotiator and 2 SWAT officers, for quick response. I then respond the SWAT command vehicle with 1 negotiator, 1 scout and 2 SWAT officers - at a big scene that means I can turn out a combined 10 man team. With a bit of creative scritping, I have modified so that my negotiators and SWAT officers can equip MP5 or PSG1 sniper rifle in addition to their service pistol. They can equip these weapons from any of the SWAT vehicles, including the SUV's and the helicopter. This way I do not need a dedicated sniper, and it makes all units more adaptable. (It also gives me the extra range of the PSG1 sniper rifle over that of the SWAT sharpshooter). Take care Shane
  12. You could always edit the speed of the bomb squad SUV. Hmm, maybe I could reskin the model with a turbo charger sitting on the bonnet ?
  13. I think I might add the New AMR to the submod as a new vehicle, so that the LAX is kept. Unfortunately this will mean downloading the whole submod again. Is everybody happy with that ? I could have it done within a day.
  14. I found with a bit of creative scripting, I could park them at the station for dispatch as required. Next step will be to create a script to call, I suppose.
  15. Funny you should ask Sorry I have been quiet for a while (work does that sometimes). I was just hopping on to post a few screenshots of an AMR Critical Care Transport Ambulance (the box style) that I have been working on (based on photos from Mike's site). It could be used to replace the LAX Ambuance for those who don't use that, or it would involve creating a new package with modifications to several files. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Take care Shane EDIT: I have edited the current AMR ambulance so that the colour scheme and the logos match.

  17. Hi seansharlos, These files should do the trick. I haven't had time to test them but everything should be right. Will give you 4 EMT/FF in Ladder and 4 USAR in USAR. Just copy to folder same as you did before (instructions in the zip file) and enjoy. Replace_HAZMAT_with_HES_Complete___for_seansharlos.rar When you get some time you might want to compare to your own attempt and see if you can find out where you went wrong. Its a good learning experience. Any questions, just drop me a line and I will help if I can.

  20. After adding additional umpc to the mod, I have been attempting to edit the opening doors feature through the editor. After adding the new door prototypes to the body of the vehicle, I attempt to edit the axis and degrees on the right of the screen for each door. Each time I try to change the values the new values will not change. I am able to change the axis but the other values return to the previous value on closing the prototype. Any ideas what I am missing ?

I know about leap years ! - this is just a rough estimate). Now we're was I ? ..... ..... Oh yeah ..... how many years have you been working on this for now Hoppah ? ..... Hi Sirius7dk, The heavy rescue crane I tend to only use for vehicles in the water, the USAR truck I often use for lighting purposes as well as road rescue (I tend to use the Heavy Equipment Squad for road rescues mostly), plus I am still hopeful that one day the game may give me an incident with a building collapse with persons trapped .   23. Hey Dominic22, I have completed the script alterations you need but I am having some problems with the Battalion Chief script to call the Heavy Rescue Crane in place of the Hazmat. I'm working on it.
