  1. Try here. http://forum.winterberg-mod.com/thread.php?threadid=3742 download 6.13 if you want the most recent version (in German). download 6.11 if you want to add the English Translation. English Translation for 6.11 found at this site with instructions on how to add; http://forum.winterberg-mod.com/thread.php?threadid=3477 Hope this helps, Have Fun Shane
  2. You are correct. If you want to add extra numbers then you can do that yourself. There is a little bit of work involved but there is already a tutorial on how to add vehicles if you have any difficulties. I modified my version to include LAPD Patrol car 101,102,103,104 and 105. I edited the original LAPD Patrol Car DDS, changed the number and saved as LAPD Patrolcar2, Patrolcar3, etc. I then added them as extra vehicles. They all function normally and can be called using call patrolcar script. Take care Shane
  3. These photos taken of vehicles from my ASNSW (Ambulance Service of New South Wales) Branch; ASNSW Mercedes Sprinter 315 - New vehicle which I sometimes brought home on call. ASNSW Mercedes Sprinter 316 Ambulance, Toyota Landcruiser 4WD and Ford Falcon Stationwagon (Clinical Support) This is the Engine from my local town Brigade
  4. If you use photoshop you will be able to open and edit DDS files directly without having to convert them. If editing DDS files from LA mod just remember that the files will most likely be locked and must be unlocked first. If you wish to unlock these files you can copy the files that you wish to unlock and rename the copies ending with .V3O instead of .dds (do not worry if you receive a warning that changing these files may cause them to stop functioning). I tend to copy the files to /Emergency4 (or 911FR)/mods/los Angeles mod v1.6 which makes it easier to locate the files later. 1. Run the EM4/911FR Editor and select modifications tab and click on Los Angeles mod v1.6. 2. Once this has loaded select the modifications tab again and this time choose unpack file. This should bring up a list of all V3O files available in that folder. 3. Double click the file that you renamed earlier and it will be unlocked. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each file that you wish to unlock. Once complete close down the editor and open folder Emergency4(or 911FR)/mods/Los Angeles mod v1.6 and locate the files that you have just unlocked. Rename the files back from .V3O to .dds (once again do not be concerned about the warning). Now the files are ready to be opened in Photoshop or similar program and edited. Hope this helps Take care Shane
  5. What happens when you commit homicide near a donut stand ? You just might get caught !
  6. If you go into the editor and load the map (needs to be done for both freeplay and dfreeplay maps for those with EM4 Deluxe) look at the virtual objects, find the following objects; policestation_turnto policestation_park01 policestation_park02 policestation_park03 policestation_turnto needs to be moved further up to the edge of policestation allowing room for you to make three extra objects the same as policestation_park01,02,03 but name the new ones policestation_park04,05,06 (I changed the numbers so that they were all in order from 1 - 6). You then need to edit the LAToPoliceStation script to include park04, park05 and park06. Also edit LACallPatrolCar script to include same and the jobs done. This will allow you to park up to 6 vehicles out the front of the Police Station and will allow patrol car back up to respond from these parking spaces when requested. I am happy to provide the edited map and files if anyone would like them, but would only do so with Hoppahs permission. Hope this helps take care Shane
  7. With the room out the front of the police station it is possible to double the number of parking spaces without too much difficulty as seen below. (all vehicles will still respond to requests for backup with slight modification to LACallPatrolCar script) However the street needs a bit of modification so the police vehicles don't get a ticket for parking on the footpath
  8. You are correct. It just would not be realistic if you didn't get the occasional (or frequent) false alarm... Tale care Shane
  9. Great work Hoppah, as always. Some nice enhancements to the engines. The automatic spawn is a nice touch as well. Thanks for all your efforts Regards Shane
  10. Excellent job! As always, keep up the great work. :1046275747_biggthumpup: Take Care Shane
  11. Open your first responders folder where you have installed it on the hard drive. You should seen a file named em4.cfg (should be about 4th in the list of files). Open this file using either notepad or wordpad and follow the instructions listed in the camera hack topic. Selecting edit/find from within the document to locate the settings that you wish to change can save some time searching. Hope this helps. Take care Shane

  13. Hi all, I am an Ambulance Paramedic in city with regional population of approx 100 000 people in rural New South Wales, Australia. A couple of interesting events; Picture an Ambulance responding code 1 (lights and sirens) to an incident. On the way an elderly gentleman steps out in front of the ambulance. Colleague driving the ambulance jumps on the brakes and the ambulance pulls up just before the gentleman, however, gives him a gentle nudge. Gentleman falls to the ground and looks up to find two paramedics leaning over him. His first words were "Gee, you guys got here quick!" Happy to say no injuries aside from a couple of small scrapes. A young woman 'late teens' works at the bakery across the road from our Branch Ambulance Station. Pleasant young woman who knows most of our staff well. Recieve a call to an unknown incident at a residence one night. Arrive to find same young woman engaging in a romantic liasion with her boyfriend. Some unusual positioning led to the boyfriend dislocating his knee. Boyfriend in severe pain and still intertwined with girlfriend. Had to transport both boyfriend and girlfriend (sitting on top) on stretcher to hospital wearing nothing but a couple of ambulance blankets. Surprisingly the young woman left her job at the bakery across the road a short time later. "You people must see some terrible things!!"
  14. I can't see a reason why it would not let you save. Perhaps you could try right mouse click on the config file and select edit instead of open, then make your changes and save. See if that works. Take care Shane
  15. Hi all, Just a further confirmation that EM4 Deluxe and 911 FR will both operate on Vista Ultimate 64bit. I have been operating 911FR on my laptop without any problems since June 2007 and also installed EM4 GOLD in February 2008. Both work perfectly. Specs as follows: DELL XPS Laptop Intel Core 2 T7600 2.33 GHz 4Gb RAM ( OS only recognises 3.25Gb as Dell has 32bit Bridge on Motherboard ) 512Gb NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950GTX Graphics Microsoft Vista Ultimate 64 Bit As Stan has said the system is not the problem. Take care Shane
  16. Thanks for the update xpac. Take Care Shane

  20. Tried again. Ran the TNT-fix which completed successfully. After which I ran setup for 1.03EN but still recieved the error message. I suppose it must be an issue with Vista. Has anyone managed to successfully install and run 1.03EN patch on a system with Microsoft Vista? If so please let me know. Thanks Shane
  21. I have the UK version of Emergency 3 with a clean install and patched up to 1.02EN which seems to run normally. I have attempted to install 1.03EN patch onto my system running Microsoft Vista so that I can install the mods. After running TNT-fix I then run setup. After setup begins to run I recieve the following message from the Installshield wizard. "Emergency 3 ist nicht installiert. Die installation wird abgebrochen." After selecting OK to acknowledge the message, the setup program terminates. I have not had any problem loading onto my earlier system running Windows XP. Any suggestions ? Thanks and Happy Easter!
