  1. Go into DATA/SPECS/FP_PARAMS_ENDLESS(open with notepad) there is all your frequency settings, just change and save.

What you need to do is go into the editor to one of the accident scenes, click on the car and go to properties, you'll notice the name of the car is eg.CCAR01 then go into traits and you will see that there is a little check box that says PERSON ENCLOSED when checked there is a little tab underneith that say eg.CCARP01 if you click on the glass, or the skid marks you will notice that they are named eg.CCARD01. Now to put this together. 1.select under vehicles wrecks slicable 2.place that vehicle where ever 3.name that vehicle once placed CCAR31(just and example start here and work up for the next ones 31,32,33,34 4.go into that vehicles traits and check person enclosed and pick one from the menu 5.if you want it to be multiple vehicles, select another wrecks slicable and place it name it CCARD31 6.go into traits person enclosed..............................................yada yada 7.if you want to add skid marks or glass go into debris pick the appropriate one and add those name CCARD31 as well. 8.if you want to add people that aren't in the cars (hit in cross walk before car hit building) just name that that person CCARD31 Original vehicle must be CCAR? anything else CCARD?
  3. Here are all the files you should need for the 114ft aerial. You will have to make a unit folder for it(know what I mean) Outside of that just place everything in the appropriate spot re-name change edit, do what ever you like. Let me know if it works.   4. Think I can help, everything is right except you haven't brought the file into the game. Go to OBJECTS/VEHCILEPARTS_DOOR/(select the door you wish to replace)EDIT/Down at the bottom of the window that comes up there will be a spot, filemodel. Beside that is a browse button, push the browse button and then in the right window navigate your way to where you put the MODEL FILE OF THAT DOOR. (eg.models/ fire department) select the file that you want lattsakrat_door01.v3o. Click ok or what ever, now go select that file in the OBJECTS/ vehicle parts_door menu(under the name of the file you replaced NOT THE NEW NAME IT WON"T BE THERE. Once you find the door just go into the edit menu for that door change the name to bumpucker or what ever you want it to be recognized lattsakrat_side etc. And place as a child once in the appropriate spot on your vehicle.   5. Well, with your zmod knowledge you'll know what i'm talking about. Having to attach all the different parts of the vehicle before you can export it gets rid of the animation component. So yes you can make them all together however you will not be able to have the doors open. If your model is a child, then all you need to do is, obviously make it to the size of the model, save it as a eg.door01. Then in the editor select that vehicle/edit children/doors/door01 and place in the appropriate spot. Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for but there was a lot to read there and my eyes are tired. Hope it helps
  6. Well I could use some more lower end engines 2 man cab or commercial cabs, and maybe a nice single axle ladder. And hey if you felt like throwing in a squad that wouldn't hurt my feeling either.

  9. Thanks just my mod that I play around with, has about 40 trucks to pick from, I have different priced trucks and different models of those trucks. So say for $35,000 you can get a 2 man pumper with 2 discharges, axes and hose. For $55,000 you can get a 4 man cab truck, with 3 discharges and axes, hose etc. After hours and hours logged on this damn addictive game you need to try and find something to keep it interesting. Same applies to the aerials, different ladder heights and equipment etc. I have always liked the chicago colours so I went with the basic chicago colours, I wasn't trying to replicate the chicago trucks just to silence the critics.(he,he)

  11. Thats right Stan just the base in the editor when you start the editor there is nothing there but a gray area with a green grid. Can the area of that be made any larger. Maybe thats what Hoppah means. Reading through the lines I'll take that as a no, thanks anyway
  12. Has anyone found it possible to make the base grid in the editor larger. Not a map in the editor but just the actual green on grey grid.
  13. hoppah, stan or any one else have you had any luck with editing persons? I'm not talking about the skins but the actual model. When imported all I get is a heap of parts. I though I had it beat by deleting everything but the part I wanted to change, change that and them import the rest around it however I had no luck. Any help would be great.
  14. ok what you need to do is 1.place your lights(i know i know duh?) 2.(going in a clockwise motion) click light properties of the first light 3.name that light 1_1_1 the first 1 is the light set(all 4 or 3 or however many you have) the second 1 is the order in a clock wise motion, and the third is when it will operate. 4. so what you should have is this 1_1_1-light 1 1_2_2-light 2 1_3_3-light 3 1_4_4-light 4 this is if you want them all to work seperatly, if you want east/west to go at the same time and N/S then it will look like this 1_1_1 1_2_2 1_3_1 1_4_2 see what i mean 5.next you need to go to virtual objects 6.don't change anything just pick add 7.now make a box prior to the light about 2 cars long x the width of the road(very important make sure nothing is in the box ie:traffic light, parked cars-has to be empty) 8.name that virtual object traffic_1_1 9.then work your way around traffic_1_2 traffic_1_3 traffic_1_4 10.then start over with the next light set 2_1_1 2_2_2 2_3_1 2_4_2etc sounds like a lot but just play with it takes a bit of work, just remember nothing in the box. another little tip is the more cars you can fit in the box length ways the longer the light will be. ie:4 cars in the box-4 cars go through,1 car in bx in car through etc.
  15. back up files then; you can go into e4/data/specs/freeplayparamaters/globaleventfrequency0.4 and change to 0.2 or what ever you like, scroll down and you will find you can actually eliminate the events you dont want by changing thier frequency to 0.01 or so on. hope this helps pumper2

Hey Victor sorry I kind of left you hanging however believe it or not the next fire district over actually had an arsonist setting church fires so I have been quite busy with that however I had too many bugs with that map and started a new one and am about 80% done I will however have to send it as a mod due to the changes and tiles I have made. But I didn't leave ya hanging. That picture under my name is actually one of the pics of one of the fires taken by my brother in law. Cheers. Pumper42

Well victor It's nothing overly fancy, I have not fiqured out how to make the same floors that are in the original maps and I'm sure it will only recieve critisism because It's made from tiles which I have made. So you have basic roads grass and concrete in a grid like pattern(which I personally like). It is as big a map as you can make. It has 5 fire stations one that doubles as an ambulance station. A fairly tight packed downtown core and some quite little suburbs. Most of the building are open as I like to run medical calls and interior firefighting, the larger buildings have stand pipes so you can attack with hose inside instead of extinguishers. It's not 100% complete but give me a day or two to tidy it up a little and I'll send you a copy and you can let me know if anyone else might like to give it a try. LIKE I SAY IT'S NOT THE BEST THING TO HIT THE SITE SINCE LA MOD BY HOPPAH! However it's just a change of pace.

  20. My inner and outer boundaries are set on the map surface is there anyother boundaries?
  21. I have made a brand new map from the grid however when i tried it for the first time the mini map scale was way off. Moving from one side of the screen to the other was moving the cursor from one side of the mini map to right out of side any help would be appreciated.
