    I heard of that. Rich kids had so much money that when they wrecked one car, they went and bought a new one of if it got impounded they would still buy a new one. I guess it takes some people to get nearly killed in order to stop street racing. Fast and furious was not real guys! l

    We have code 2 and 3 from what I've heard in the county I live in and: Priority 1: Lights and Sirens Priority 2: Respond at your discretion (If you feel the need to use L and S, go ahead but don't kill yourself getting to this call since it may not be worth responding to in the first place) Priority 3: No lights or sirens Priority 4: Really, take your time. Finish that sandwich if you want to too lol. I've only heard P3 a handful of times and P4 once. These are the codes dispatch uses in the county I volunteer in.

    I want to be a firefighter paramedic but at the moment, I have no job but I volunteer at a fire station! Does that count?

    Just like in real life unless they do it in the truck. It usually takes an experienced firefighter 30-45 real seconds to put on gear. Of course in the game, the fire would be RAGING at that point so about 10-15 seconds maybe in the game. BA's do take a while if you don't put it on in the truck so about 45-1:00?

    In the next version, will the cars have authentic Norwegian sirens? It's kind of weird hearing LA sirens in a whole different continent haha

    I could've found that for you! HAha saw that twice. It was actually the first time I've ever seen FDNY Marine units doing anything in the aspect of firefighting!

    I was wondering what that was for haha. Can someone please explain to me how I can open the file found on the first page for the RTS mod? It won't open since it said that my opener thing couldn't open the archive. I really would like to play this again.

    Yeah after they said five for each tower they just kept asking for more units! 19 alarms though....imagine seeing that. I know it probably wasn't that much space to park the fdny trucks so they had to be lined up for BLOCKS. Wonder how many charged lines went up in there. anyway, do you think you guys can make enough units for a good five alarm fire without having all of the units say 10, 9, 6, 1 over and over since they're the same model if you get what I mean. maybe not in this version of course but in a later one.

    Normal? Like it happens often? I guess maybe once every two three weeks if it's a big enough fire. Not too realistic to do that all of the time though because that creates many gaps in NYC and for some reason when that happens, call volume increases.....weird. It's like robbers robbing a liquor store when a bunch of cops are at a bank robbery.

    Oh did you try turning shodaows off or putting your graphics at minimum?

    That would be possible but I think that a lot of units would be stuck at the edge of the map since so many would be called at one time.

Do it exactly. First uninstall the game, do what he says, and reinstall it to THAT registry, not the default one.

    Atari sucks. Do you run all of your settings on the game on high when you play it? Has this just happened?

I want to specialize in map editing so Imma train on that for the next few weeks as well as my usual modeling and I want to learn more about putting vehicles into games but this is not the place to talk about my 911 FR 2012 hopes and dreams so I will ask the mods nicely to close this topic.
