Its just for publicity, *example* say if they're giving a presentation to a potential commercial supporter, they could show an image of some of our work (Predominantly their current XC70 and some of the personnel we made) and say "Here is an example of our current vehicle being made into a game, which shows you how well known we are throughout the Midlands for our Pre-Hospital Services" -

Hello All! Check out some of our latest updates on our Facebook Page, which include a new version of the WMAS Fiat Ducato and a reskin of the WMAS First Response Bag. Additionally we have contacted the West Midlands Central Accident Resuscitation and Emergency (CARE) Team for images of their vehicles and equipment, We are also pleased to announce that the WM CARE Team will be using our mod to show to potential commercial supporters in an attempt to get more donations to help raise funds for a new response vehicle - You can donate and find out more information Here -

Guess the Emergency Vehicle Challenge

Yeah theocd, (Apart from its Central, Accident, Resuscitation and Emergency (CARE), not REsuscitation but you can take it anyway) Need to find incredibly challenging one for next time -
Ill have to ask, just because it "Qualify's" you as one, dosen't mean you have to become one. And about the drivers licence, I know some don't actually have them as they respond by other means (Ie, There's one in Stafford which responds by horse - Yes this is true, was told about it on my week at WMAS) and you also don't need a car, again depending on circumstances, as the local one by me provides a car and the Telford Responders actually have blue-light cars.

Sometimes I'm glad im ACF Just been looking at some courses at the Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park after speaking to one of my Sgt Instructors. Looking on their site they did a course which "Provides Community First Responder Qualification, including AED and Anaphylaxis qualification" However the course is listed as an "Advanced First Aid Course", but isn't the only qualification that qualify's you as a CFR the IHCD First Person on Scene?

Nah, most of the time the helicopter pilot himself finds the most suitable landing spot, with the assistance of a Paramedic Officer and its known as the Midlands Air Ambulance (MAA) not West Midlands Air Ambulance (WMAA) as the charity/service covers the west midlands, east midlands, shropshire, staffordshire, worcestershire and to an extent, surrounding areas and "The Midlands" refers to all these areas. -

My training is Normal First Aid + More Diagnostics (Ie, Pulse Oximetry, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Chest & Lung Sounds, etc) and a few more treatment skills. And in the UK First Responder Certification (Called Institute of Health Care Development First Person On Scene (IHCD FPOS)) Is above first aid and is used by Community Responders, Fire Service, Some Businesses who have very dangerous working conditions, offshore vessels & oil rigs, etc. Its split into 3 levels, Basic, Intermediate and Enhanced, Enhanced is more like the Ambo Technician Course. Anyways, going a little off topic there -
