Print-screen does not work in the game/editor. You need to download a free program called Fraps in order to take proper screenshots

I am experiencing this again. Was there a fix found?

LA Mod 4x4 w00ds Map v1 Submod Preview
swatlord replied to Xplorer4x4's topic in Submods [Not released]
Eh, in my opinion, that's just another person you have to police up. Who knows, maybe you're on to something there. I still think maybe you should limit the commands so that, like Xplorer said, the BN Chief isn't arbitrary -
I understand it. it's like asking a painter what percentage his current work is? Or a sculptor? It's not like either of these people can look at their work and say "mmmmyep, about 30% more, and I'll be done". Plus, their idea of being 30% done is most likely different from our version of 30% done. It's something that can't really be measured. Especially when they do this in their free time. Not trying to knock anyone down a peg, but I hope this makes it a little more understandable

Well, I though I might make up a bug list: -The engine in the NW station has a hard time getting back in the station. It oftentimes stops outside the station and just stays there in the middle of the street. -The western bridge will sometimes lose it's snowy texture -All of the unit names and thumbnails are still listed as LA units -BN Chief cannot call several units from their stations (the ambulance being one of them). They get called off the map -Rapid deployment does not work on engines That's what I got out of the first few minutes before I got too frustrated with the game. It looks AWESOME, and I'm sure these are simple fixes, but I think it may have been released too soon. It needs more work and I can't wait to see these things fixed

I've looked around for this and can't find it; Could anyone on the team give me a detailed station layout of the 3 stations?

My suggestion, if you are still considering the captain, would be to give them limited commands. Maybe a 'call nearest ambulance', 'call nearest officer', maybe even call BN Chief/ EMS Supervisor. Snowballing thought, maybe you could use a captain to command small incidents and request a chief if things get bigger. Either way, another idea, if you DO decide to make the captain, make him USABLE. One of my biggest beefs with the SG mod is that you only have 4 people on that engine and one of them (the captain) can't use a hose, tools, anything. So, technically, you ony have 3 useful firefighters. and that's on EVERY engine. you just cut your manpower down on any given scene by at least 25% But I digress, it's your baby, I'm just a thinker -
Any updates on this thread? Is this still active?

And this is in reference to? ..... Anyway. I'm back on the radar for a little bit and would like to get some samples for events. I'll be PM'ing the ones I already have on my list for samples, but also open my box for "walk-ins"

I checked into it, you can PARK engine 7 in station 2, but you can't call it from a BN Chief/EMS Supervisor -

Not all rescues look like that. Case and point, the rescue from my VFD But it's your submod. Not trying to start anything, just saying. -

Personally, I think rescue 7 should not be considered an ambulance. If anything, I would suggest having 2 different models, one that's strictly a rescue and one that's a LRA. as far as other things, I would also suggest not having the FF/PM(EMT)'s already in SCBA gear when they respond out. Not all calls require it. I'm pretty happy with the seating and stuff, just a few tweaks. TL;DR: I suggest: Rescue 7 becomes JUST a rescue again FF's don't start out w/ SCBA -
I've been a little busy, but I still need more people before I can start recording voices.

CA firefighters no longer allowed to perform paramedic duties
swatlord replied to swatlord's topic in Los Angeles Mod
Ok, you got me. I was tired this morning when I read this and wasn't paying attention much. The original post has been edited to reflect as such -
So, it's not LA Mod, but it is CA. Found this earlier this morning STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton firefighters are no longer able to perform paramedic services on the public. Wednesday at 7 a.m., more than 40 firefighters certified as paramedics will have to take their paramedic equipment off of their fire engines. "I am just worried that the public is going to be at risk," Stockton's Fire Chief Ron Hittle said. The move is the result of a four-year legal battle between the city and the county. "It's totally asinine that the city and the county should be fighting at each other in court," County Supervisor Larry Ruhstaller said. The city wants to keep their firefighters working as paramedics, but the county has contracted with American Medical Response, a private company, for paramedic service. To make matters worse, the fight gets bigger. The county wants AMR to run 911 dispatch instead of having the city do it. The battle of emergency dispatch and paramedics is far from over. "We've just run out of time and patience. We just want to resolve this issue. If this is how we bring everybody to the table, then that's what we'll do," Ruhstaller said. For now, firefighters can no longer be paramedics in Stockton. "We are not going to be able to provide it tomorrow (Wednesday). That's the tough part. You don't sleep well and you worry about every instance the bell hits if it going to be one of those calls," Hittle said. The reason for the Sept. 1 deadline is the end of a two-month extension the county gave the city after the court said the issue had to be resolved. The city is appealing it. Bumpety bump UPDATE- Coming off of active duty tomorrow and expecting to start taking recordings by next week (hopefully). Anyone interested (and not on the list at the first page) please get ahold of me somehow on the forum if you'd like to help

No problems. I understand that it can be hard to understand something online without someone there explaining it.
-
No.... It doesn't. It's completely irrelevant.
-
Chill.... I got this handled
-
What does it matter? I'm not using ACTUAL 911 calls. Hence, why I need VOICE ACTORS.
-
Haha, nah. I'm FD. I've just been using this username ever since I can remember. I think it's a cheat code to a SWAT game actually

Wasn't really an advertisement. More like a "covers most questions that will be asked" sort of thing. How to subscribe, do your own cover, or watch the original. It encompasses everything
