Right, but I know a lot of police agencies prefer to have their officers trained to a certain level. They may not REQUIRE it to join, but after they join, they may offer it.

It's all open to what the dispatch center's SOP is. My county dispatches stations instead or engines. They'll also dispatch ambulances by their designation (ALS/BLS). We have ALS intercepts that are named as Medics.

1. BC, FCR from station 1, and EMS supervisor has charge of any other incidents that happen 2. PD to secure the scene, EMS supervisor, Rescue/BC SUV with trailer (depending on location) ALS and BLS ambulances, EMS supervisor calls for more if needed. 3. I can usually catch it with just one engine or the BC with a fire extinguisher 4. One cruiser is enough to take him down... EMS as needed for others: Hostage Situation- PD provides perimeter while FBI is en route, EMS supervisor and ALS engine staged wherever TOC is located Bomb- depends... sometimes I let it go off for fun if I'm having a slow game, but usually just PD and Bomb squad Suicide attempt- If it's on land, I take a rescue and PD. PD arrests after jumper(s) is(are) safe. Structure fire- BC and nearest 2 engines respond, PD secures scene and provides room for fire personnel

No problem guys. I've enjoyed it these past couple of months. It's not a HUGE change from Vista, but it is more user friendly in my opinion

Since this is the 'bug' forum, I thought I should add this... Since Win7 is coming out tomorrow, I will let everyone know I've been running the full version win7 X64 (LEGALLY provided through my university) for a couple months now and I'm glad to say I've had minimal problems with 911: FR or the LA mod (and what little I had was solved by updating the vid card drivers). I will note that you'll have to enable it for admin like vista and enable it to run in Win2000 mode OFF TOP - Win7 is pretty good. I'd recommend it over vista any day. back to topic.... Hope this eases anyones worries about compatibility!

Well, they can stop bleeding and sucking chest wounds and such. They could start IV's if they really wanted to. With all they know, they could start stabilizing before ALS or BLS is on scene

Right, i understand that. You could also make it act like the coroners van, where the patients are stored and the stretcher is freed, and then when it gets to the hospital you could make the stretcher team make two trips. I'm no scripting expert so I don't know how feasible it is.... Hoppah?

AH, I see.... Then in that case I think we should bring it back for some more realism. For example, you could make the BLS ambulance only be able to carry one while ALS could carry two

Meh... I rather enjoy the unrelated, random emergencies.... but it would be kinda cool to get a call about a person down and after you ask a few nearby witnesses, you find he was assaulted and the raid the guys house

Actually.....he never said "I'm the one making/copying/stealing this mod" or any variation.... all the vid said was "new mod is coming"... It never said who was building it or whether it would be freely distributed. For all we know, it was just for a circle of friends and he needed a place to host the vid. I agree though that as soon as he tries to publish it, he should ask permission. Maybe he wanted some supporters before he went ahead and did work and got permission

In this case though, this davidadadada (or whatever) person owns the video. He may not own rights to the mod, but he did make the video.

In that case every video of EM4 or the American equivalent should be deleted... and for that matter, any video that involves any gameplay of any sort of multimedia game should be deleted unless they can furnish the proper authorization, notarized, and in triplicate

Depends... It's not that hard to mask or change an IP. For all intents and purposes, he could have registered at a friends house, a library, an internet cafe....anywhere. That's why when the police conduct investigations involving computers, IP addresses are considered circumstantial evidence. Like I said.... Is he/she really hurting anything? I've seen so many people thrown on the cross for such minor infractions in this forum. Mods needs to take a breather before they warn/post/ban. A lot of the incidents I've seen did not warrant the kind of language and brow beating the offenders received.

No offense, but they're probably not gonna do that. They didn't actually "steal" anything. It's not like a song where the audio is copyrighted, it's just a game. Granted, you worked hard on that mod, but all he's doing is promoting it. It's not like he's trying to sell it or have a link to download it. Also, bans don't fix everything. You can just as easily get back on the forum with a new email address and such. As much as I know you don't like it Hoppah, sometimes you gotta choose your battles. Now unless I'm wrong and he's got some download up somewhere or in some way is selling your work.... He didn't violate anything

Eh, I'm not really all that interested in playing one particular area of the city. (Unless my thinking is wrong and it's gonna be added to the freeplay map) I'm not a big fan of the new freeplay map to begin with and isolating that area down to just an airport would not be very fun in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, this may appeal to other people, but my fun comes from dealing with CITY-wide emergencies. Quick inquiry... If that video was promoting the LA Mod... why did it have a Pittsburgh Area hazmat unit???
