I disabled Windows Firewall and tried then, with no luck. And that's about as much as I know about firewalls.

Apologies, progress has been slow as I've had a busy time at school and filled with exams, means I can get little time for computer games (2 hours a week). Shadylasse is working (I guess) on his Copenhagen mod. Therefore I shall try to get progress started again soon. Thanks for your patience.

Error starts even though I got the dds plug-in.

You need to... 1. Rename the .dds you want to edit into .v3o (which you already did) 2. Go into the Editor, "Unpack file", find that .v30 file and unpack it. 3. Change the file back from .v3o into .dds Then it will be able to open & edit -

For the LA Mod files, you have to follow this tutorial. Then, you should be able to edit as normal. -

Tried out the mod; it's great. The radiation lighting on some cars could be improved but the suits idea is really good. Great work overall

Well YouTube has plenty of videos that are just as fun to watch The ones I found were the LAPD sign and the new speech when arresting someone and the radio dispatcher

Well like in any mod, the road to perfection is off to a long but great start The new models are great and even with the bugs I had I enjoyed playing. I might go and tweak some myself in the editor. Don't worry about rushing the map, it'll still be snowy season for a few months. I admire the dedication you have for pushing forward ideas and creativity, plus teaching yourself to mod. But now let's kerp on going to nail this mod (:
